just played a game as Taric. the Swain on our team went 0/37/0. In fact my pure support role ended up being farcical as i ended up being the only one on our team to plant wards or report lanes. everyone else on our team ended up double digits in the deaths with less than 4 kills while even i scraped together a 6/5/10.

Time to stop playing support in randoms and go back to my shotgun Graves style!

Me: Hey I will be home in about 1 hr and we can chat then for as long as you like.

Me (1hr later): Ok! Hello I am home now!

Oh! That is a tad naughty of you asking me those personal questions! I am sure you understand that I can't answer those just yet, because there's a chance you might be Lucy! If you're Lucy I don't really want to give you any secret information you could use against me!

But, I want to trust you! I really do!

So, I figure hey, you've got nothing to lose from me and I've got everything to lose here, so it would be nice if you could try and convince me you're the town jailor! I thought of a few questions I'd love to hear answers to!

    Are you ready?

    1. Did you jail me because you think I'm a bad girl or because you wanted to protect me or because you wanted to have a friendly chat with me ?
    2. On a scale of 1-100, how would you rate your intelligence, 100 being the highest and 1 being not very high?
    3. Who did you jail last night and why?
    4. What role do you think I am?
    5. What COM do you think I am?
    6. Please tell me as much about yourself as you like! I love a good chat!

Me: Ok it's been 11hrs since you last posted. That's 7 words for half of the entire night/ interrogation. I thought you might be asleep but I don't know anybody who sleeps that long.

*************** 18 hours after jail chat opens ************

214: I will answer your questions after you answer mine. Keep in mind, Fizz, that I can execute you at any moment. But it would be nice it you cooperated.

Me: You're a jerk but whatever. It appears you jailed Lee Sin and I had already suspected that his jailor was Town so I'll take a leap of faith.

I am Muso and I am the Animus Security Detail. I got a not suspicious result on Jarvan IV last night which was why I was trying to protect him today. Happy? Now answer my questions.

214: 1) I simply wanted to chat, given that it seems you know what you're doing.
    2) I can't quite give you a subjective answer here.
    3) Lee Sin. I jailed him mostly at random.
    4) No comment.
    5) Ditto.
    6) How about I don't.

What are your thoughts on the game so far? Who do you think is mafia?

Me: I'm extremely certain that I caught a mafia yesterday, but by the time I saw their slipup it was too late to bring the claim against them and there was too much attention on Gangplank and Alistair. I'm going to //check him tonight and providing I get a suspicious result (which i'm fairly certain i will) I'll reveal tomorrow and start the lynch on him.

214: It would be good if we could devise some sort of code for you to relay your investigations to me.

If I ever feel the need to reveal to you, then I will say "Well, this is quite a strange day." in its own post.

Me: To be honest I am 99% sure I'll be revealing tomorrow anyway.

    Gonna make this guy pay.

    214: I see.

Any other suspects, other than the one person who slipped up?

End of night before I could reply.
Idk if your jailor is scum or not, but definitely similar to mine. The way he worded how he'll reveal himself is EXACTLY the same.

    Udyr:
I would like you to explain why I have seen you consistantly online during night 1, night 2 and some of day 2 as well. You say you've been out of town but you've at least had time to log in and stay lurking for a while. Now you are reading through day2/3 as if you haven't before.

    For now I will
    -Unvote
    until he says his defense.

I also find it scummy that he has found significant scum tells within the first 143 posts on day 2 that none of us have picked up on. Either his role led him to these or he is stalling to buy time.

So EU I am dissapoint. I ask you to get cailtyn to talk more and nothing happens. Very Dissapoint.
    -Vote Caitlyn
for avoiding my questions and being scummy. She deliberatly ignored my questions which I asked twice. Instead answering others with weak answers.

    Shaco:
Why do you think by not claiming anything against graves we will lynch him? Look at rivens hypothetical claim which is pretty much the same as yours. You say he lied then ask us to trust you.
At this point I have no reason to suspect graves as a liar with alistar. For the mafia to get 2 of their 6 in a buddy buddy situation connecting each other is very risky. They can't afford to lose 2 of their members, I imagine if an assassin comes under significant pressure they will not give us anything that can connect them to other assassins.
For now I chose to ignore your information unless you choose to enlighten us on how you know he isn't cit.

    Riven:
Why do you say that dust (Lee Sin) wasted a day and a half focusing on Alistar, which was a waste,
and then go and vote him later on? You were basically defending Alistar and now you went a full 180!
(P.S. why do they call it an xbox 360?)

    Nautilus:
Why are you so quick to believe shaco? It's typical really since I believe to be one quick to judgement and one who is fickle, but the question is asked.
Follow up: Why do you believ Veigar is scummy that you forget about him but are instantly reminded of his scumminess when he posts?

    Leona:
Don't think I've forgotten about you. Why are your posts from today SIGNIFICANTLY different than from day 2?

    Katarina:
Please tell me why you seem to ask open ended questions that never really steer the conversation anywhere. You sound too much like a politician to me and this leads me to believe you are hiding deep dark secrets.

    Karthus:
    Where has he gone?

    Irelia:
Just because you were jailed by a town jailor does not clear you in any way. In fact I am suspicious about you more now. You seem to insist that you are cleared by jailor.

    Graves:
Quick to trust me "implicitly". Anyone who tries to buddy buddy with me seems scum. Why would anyone trust me?

    Gangplank:
Today all he did was be an attention whore throwing a pity party for himself.

    Fizz:
I think sometimes you are FOS and other times that you can be trusted. You're giving the town some reasonably good information but it seems like you are only doing this to gain our trust. You like to point our other peoples mistakes on RP or game info and seem like you are Pro Town. I've got my eye on you. The fact that you have been like a best friend to me means I have to distance myself from you. Either you are trying to get on my good side as scum or we just think alike. I am not taking chances and this is especially why I didn't want to be a part of that hammock party troll fest on day 1. No one should be trusting me until I claim.

    Fiddlesticks:
Although it is perfectly fine to assume you were jailed and attacked I want to point out the possibility that he could be an assassin. Either they decided to not jail and not attack to have him do this charade or the town jailor jailed him and the assassins discussed not killing and having him claim so he would be 100% town. It's risky to not kill when they are down this far but if it means getting a suspicious member to suddenly be widely considered town it gets them to last longer in the game.

Jarvan claims that Fizz seems to have been jailed by the same jailor that jailed him.
Fiddlesticks claims to be jailed by a jailor claiming to be Goremancer. Jarvan's jailor was Goremancer.
It is possible that Fizz was actually jailed by Jarvan's original jailor. Fiddlesticks, if you saved the jail logs (like any intelligent townie would), please post them so that Jarvan can tell us which jailor seems most like his original jailor. The one lying is most likely lucy, and knowing Lucy and the current jailor's #s can help anyone in jail - if the jailor's # doesn't match the real town's jailor #, be aware that he is likely lucy.

Keep in mind that at random times, the jailor numbers for both jailors will change, so figuring out which jailor number is Lucy and which one is town is futile. Lucy can also request this to happen manually.

Re: Board Meeting Three: The Investigation Continues...

Ok I said this before but I will restate it

I think that jailors should be IGNORED.

    Why?

Right now we have 1 dead town jailor which leaves Lucy Stillman and POSSIBLY another town jailor.

Everyone has seemed to forget that jailors are extremely under powered in comparison to their usual role cards in other FMs.

Let's assume best case scenario we still have 1 town jailor alive.

Each jailor has 1 execution which cleans the role and will.
    Lucy:
She want's to use this to execute a PR who has information not yet given to town. That is the best case scenario for her. How does she do this? Well the only way I see Lucy using her execution is if she is sure that they are PR and the only way she can be sure is from information given by Erudito or a consigliere.

If we deny her all information in jail she will not be a threat.
11/ 24 remaining town are citizens and 13 are PRs.
Plus we have 3 neutrals and a witch.

So generally 13/28 possible jail targets for lucy are targets she wants to kill. We give her nothing and she will not kill unless she has information from assassins/town that says her target is a PR.

As soon as she uses her execution she is useless. She gives her jailed target night immunity and it can't be an assassin. There is no threat of being killed in jail.

Really Lucy is a thorn in our foot and we can ignore her fully.

By ignoring her we give the assassins nothing and only sacrifice our town Jailor a chance to do anything (if there is one) really.

    Town Jailor:
is doing his best to scum hunt and find mafia without giving himself away.
This person realizes that no one trusts the jailors right now and has probably given up trying to get much information from people but rather see if they lie or slip up.

The one execution should be saved till late game and ideally never used. As soon as his execution is used scum will fear nothing in jail and will become far more 'trusting' of the jailor and use it to infiltrate town.

Worst case scenario (but not bad at all really), there are no remaining town jailors.
    Deny deny deny!
Anyone jailed is proven town and given immunity for the night unless she uses her execution. In this scenario a smart Lucy will not jail until they find a PR worthy of killing in jail. She would be used for killing if there is no mafioso.

I suggested earlier that the town jailor come forth and claim. He can use codes to prove to his target he is the town jailor and then give immunity to key targets and start setting up a town network.

But really every time I start thinking about the jailors I say why do we need them?

Re: Board Meeting Three: The Investigation Continues...

Here you go, but like I said there's not a lot to it. I did 90% of the talking.

Me: Okay, since you’re apparently not going to start this little pow wow, I guess I’ll get it started by asking who you jailed last night.

Jailor: I’m sorry I’ve been busy so we won’t be able to have a full length conversation. I’m the jailor though and I ask the questions. I would like to know your role and COM identity.

Me: If this were a normal setup I’d give you my role + my notes on everyone. But given that you are not a confirmed jailor in this setup, I’m not going to give you anything until you tell me who you jailed last night.

Jailor: Ahhhhh but you’re more suspicious than me FIddlesticks (sic). But fine. (sic) I’m Goremancer, the one that jailed Jarvan last night. I find it funny that he trusted me last night and then accused me of being scummy in the day chat. I guess he’s not as independent and smart as I thought.

Me: Saying that you’re Goremancer doesn’t make me trust you. Please copy and paste clips from your previous session so that I can confirm that you did in fact jail Jarvan last night. If I remember the rules correctly, Elixir said it’s okay to quote as long as you just use “ “ instead of direct quoting the post.

[Here I take some guesses at his identity along with why he jailed me]

I had another question for you, but I forget what it is, so for now I’ll just ask: what do you think of this 3 jailor business? I have to assume you believe it since I’m in here instead of one of the other jailed claims, but it still seems weird doesn’t it?

Also, I think I saw someone somewhere suggest that the Assassin could've been blocked and I was just drugged (or lying). While I can't prove that I'm not lying, I can prove that I was not drugged because it didn't say I was attacked and healed, but attacked and immune thanks to the jail.

4 of the first 6 posts you made today. Granted the last one is a direct question but a question nonetheless.

You state your thoughts in the forms of questions so that it seems like you are less scummy for directly stating them. I really don't care about the content of these questions but rather the fact that you continually asked them as if you were unsure and seeking confirmation from someone else.

I think of it as having an alibi. If you ask someone a question and they give you an answer they will be far more likely to remember giving the answer than if you were to state something to them.

If I say "Do you think those bananas are ripe?" vs "Those bananas are ripe" the other person will cognitively recognize my question and pay more attention to the conversation than if I were to just state that they are ripe.

Where am I going with this? Well, you asked questions to which you probably already knew the answer so that someone else thinks you are contributing more than you are. It's a scum tactic I've used many times before and it works. It's subtle persuasion.

Fine. If you see fit that jailors should be ignored, i will not talk more of finding lucy vs. current living jailors.
I still would like to hear the 3rd jailed claim for today. If it is not forthcoming, I would ask any data analysts to coroner up Leblanc's body so we know who the missing jailed person is. There is no reason for a town who was jailed not to claim, as it only adds more confusion to our analysis of jails. If no one claims, the person who leblanc jailed is scum.

Suck me off. I do what I want. You don't want to read it, close your eyes.
As far as jailor clearing me, I said no such thing. I said it proved I was jailed. Learn how to read dumbass.

By the way, no has really pressured me for my night chat with jailor.....that's interesting....anyways, we might be able to scrounge something up from it if you guys want me to post it. However, I think the jailor is dead, so it might not do much of anything...Anyways, let me know if you want me to post it or not.

Alright, i think we better reign this in before someone wanting to actually do something productive starts to whip our asses.
I meant to stop altogether in the first place, but there's just something about Irelia's posts that makes me giggle uncontrollably. You're a lucky girl, Lux.
