Hah, I was wondering if anyone would call me out on the "everyone" part, as I was not actually sure that it was "everyone" else besides Purple or not, I welcome more thoughts on this (on the Lover) from you and others. I townread Comrade, who was willing to do some sacrifice to place vote with townies as opposed to doing what he described as a more optimal strategy for his slot. After he said this, I told him to go ahead and save himself if he believed he could do so (in part because I didn't have strong feelings between Eyes, Myopia, Purple, and yeah you can shade me for masterminding a tie or whatever, we already had a 3-way 4-vote tie at the time when I had this discussion with Comrade). I expect Lover to be either Neutral or Scum Faction (heartbreaker type). As I said on D1, if it is neutral/3P then I hope Inconspicuous will start voting and give us that additional town vote (follow Comrade's lead). Incons is made even more likely non-town when we see a lover-like Lovestruck role flip from FM-Eyes, who was town. So why check "town or not town" as Purple did on a slot that is almost surely not town? It's a waste of an investigative ability. I already said it D1, two votes affiliated with town (town~Comrade and his lover~Incons) are better than 0, so I don't want either of them to die. Factional scum do.

@FM-Comrade PickleRadish btw you do need to talk to Inconspicuous and get him more active. He didn't even vote D1, that needs to change if you two are to maintain strong equity for town.

Off of my own instincts, im more inclined to trust Tesseract b/c hes a solver, just look at him!

But as I said before, I can't vote Purple due to him not having a painting 100% (I brought it from him)

Earless and Father-And-Sun also have paintings but they are not in the contention for voting right now

The train on eyes seems to be headed mainly by my null-reads, while the train on Myopia is led by Chad who was a contentious figure and three null-reads.

I would say Eyes is slightly more towny in my eyes, pun not intended.

But if Purple is gonna get the most votes, leaving Myopia and Eyes in the dust, I will vote for the artpiece holders.

Will leave my vote on Earless for now due to a combination of him not offering the painting at all, and him being more of a null read.

My mistake. I even re-ISO'd Eyes several times just to be sure and somehow that big wall of text looked like an opening post to me. Problem is I didn't ever ISO SOMETHING as it's too many posts for my liking and I felt OK about their early active gameplay, so focused my ISO efforts on others. The implication is that Eyes was the town-equivalent of a Lover role. So it is not surprising for Inconspicuous to be a non-town Lover. But they are tied up with Comrade, whom I believe to be town. So if a better lynch exists then I would prefer lynching a potential 3P Lover tied up with a Townie as the two of them are good for 2 votes on town's behalf. If Inconspicuous is a mafia/factional Lover, then we definitely need to get them sooner or later, but they are not really going anywhere. Now, I believe you should know that I feel that a better lynch exists, right?

What is the confusion? They never got to use their role. But the role was to pick someone to fall in love with N1 and they would learn their rolecard. They could send a day msg (without revealing themselves). They could do a lookout check on their loved target. They could protect their loved target as a BG. And they could either sacrifice self or take vengeance if the loved target got lynched.

To be fair, I took a note during my N1 studies that Myopia did indicate a N0 (or maybe D1) green check on Arcade during early D1, and that modkilled player did flip town. Nothing huge there, but something to keep in mind, at least Myopia is consistent on their ability to investigate.
