An Argument you should never make about jails.

If you are in jail, and do anything except lie to cover your ass (if scum) or be outright truthful and cooperative (if not scum) then you have failed. Any argument against that is also pure fail.

Sometimes it's worth lying even if you aren't evil. Some jailors have it hard-wired in their brain that anyone who claims Doctor is automatically serial killer, and anyone who claims Jailor that was jailed is automatically a liar and deserves to die. Jailors also have a tendency to execute neutral benigns - amnesiac/survivors, so they too should lie about their role in order to live. And never claim civ if youre a citizen, that's an automatic execute since you have your role card right there, if you can't hit the right third letter then you're putting doubt into the jailor's mind about the authenticity of your role.

Basically, unless you're an investigative with cold hard proof you have a 50% chance of being executed by a jailor if you tell the truth about your role ~ assuming town here, what kind of mafia claims that they are mafia in a jail cell >.>

Arguing is not necessarly an auto-exe as long as it's not done in a rude manner.
Regarding that, I sometimes get away claiming jester as a jester to jailor, giving that I act like a jester at day. Some or a rarity of jailors would go "That guy is probably mafia" and vote me to see who would follow up, and cancel their guilty vote at the last instant when a lynch occurs.

If you claim jester, I would execute right on the spot. Any jailor that fails to do is....failing. It's a non-town role and provides a threat to town and also can act as a guise to mafia....

All you know about a jailor initially is that he is 100% town, you don't know who he is or how he'll act. Also I'm talking about doing things like refusing to roleclaim, refusing to talk, telling the jailor you're gonna AFK the whole game etc. Frankly any of those examples should result in an immediate execution.

I once got 3 evils jailed and executed by looking at voting patterns and then asking obscure disney questions to see if they live or not.
But yea most jailors are bad and if you claim mayor as SK and will reveal tommorow they will let u live.

I usually troll and execute no matter what because unless it is N1 I picked them for a reason and I had little doubt that they were bad.

I pay close attention to role list and activity patterns, I've caught several mafia because they immediately back up their teammate's accusation with no questioning.
