Yes I was wrong. I overlooked the Jester role card because I expected it to be the same as every other jester. Dedicating a jester kill to a town player is not something I have seen before. That point you brought out dropped my position quite a bit. I am just digging though some things.

And I would really like to hear more thoughts on Temple Run. 26 posts gives a much stronger analysis than 6. Regardless of how good you are at scum hunting killing a player off 6 posts is just a "lynch the lurker" move. Not a "Lynch the probable scum"
I kind of want to flip over to vote Kik but that is a tough sell for a late game train and a no-lynch would be so much worse for us than any other move..

And is your vote on Angry because half his posts were in opposition of you? He is the only lurker that called you scum.

OMG...I leave for a quick bite to eat before my afternoon call and this happens...I'm with Clash I'm crying over the amount of derp in this thread, albeit for different reasons.

Although with Flappy Bird trying to help remove some of this derp and the unlikeliness of them getting lynched I will give a break for now and sleep on it.

My order of priority for lynches are:
Fruit Ninja -- remove a conf scum. If they are jestered (which IMO I will suggest a mechanics change to the mod after this if they are) then their entire purpose is to troll and not care and not be helpful keeping them on will hurt our chances at removing scum because they don't care and may not even vote. The more we wait the more likely it is we lose.
Temple Run / Instagram -- My two top scum reads.
Quizup -- Pretty confident they are the Serial Killer. However I'd prefer to get rid of scum first.
No lynch -- With the other possibilities present maybe going a flat no lynch is possible. It's unlikely there is a detainer in the scum as no two mafia kill the first night. This would put the cards in the serial killers hands which IMO they have to try to hit mafia to stay alive. If mafia overtake town and the serial killer, it is likely that they will lose as well. I hate that this gives us no information though and hopes the serial killer kills mafia...But it's better than the last option to me.
Anyone lurking -- Not enough evidence here to pick one lurker over another. This would be the equivalent of Russian Roulette and I don't like it. Informed arguments people.
If we get to anything lower than this, it's not getting my vote.

First of all -- A) was in reference to your A) was that his win con changed. If they are wanting the serial killer to win then yes they are against us.
B) If anyone is a jester then they are against town. Their goal is to get lynched. They will not do anything other than try to get lynched. This means they can't be counted upon to do anything AND still count as a head in our required lynch total. When we're already struggling to get a majority on things it is another obstacle to overcome.

For example if 13 players 1 jester this means 8 votes to lynch. But if that jester wasn't around it'd be 7.

About why not a push for Quizup -- While I'm pretty confident Quizup is the SK I'm also pretty confident that Instagram is scum. I was also confident Vine was scum. Sometimes it's not about what I believe but it's about what is the right play. IMO that's Fruit Ninja right now, followed by Instagram. The reason being is that I don't see Quizup being scum, only the serial killer after today's events. If I'm wrong then we lose one of the better townies in the game. Because of the respect for the player I suspect is behind Quizup's ID it makes me wait a bit longer. Where as Fruit Ninja/Instagram have not been helpful to town at all for most of today. Instagram only started picking up at the end of the day and continues to spread bullshit.

I find Cut The Rope and Flappy Bird highly suspicious for trying to swing a late game Fruit Ninja lynch without any explanation.

I expressed that I would go for a fruit lynch very early in the day unless "A more viable lynch presented itself"

To be blunt I am willing to go in other directions. I am not willing to go in the direction of Angry Bird. As I have said a few times- If we are lynching a lurker it should be Temple. My FoS on this player is real. Not some "he is quite" bullshit. I could also go for a lynch on Kik. The only way I see him as town is if he somehow got his teeth sunk so far into Quizup he lost site of all counter logic and although I would not eliminate the possibility of Quizup as the Dooms Day Killer I do not think that is the case right now.

Clash of Clans- Please reconsider your position. This is only such a split fucked off mess because you are making it that way. There has to be some other direction you are willing to go. A coin toss is a shit end of day action.

Hello everyone, I for one like the idea of peacefuls claiming out the gate, as such I would like to claim peaceful.

Enjoyed the pleasant discussion today, glad to see the trolls aren't in full force like usual. It gives me plenty of hope for how this game will turn out. I hope we can all maintain this atmosphere for the rest of the game, instead of resorting to the all too familiar mud slinging of the past.

Reading through I have yet to develop many reads, however one read strikes me quite strongly despite the current situation in the day. As such I would like to express my FOS on Fruit Ninja. I also was quite surprised by the fake vote from Quizip. If only I could know what was going through his mind.

I would like to formally thank the hosts for obliging my request to modify the production increment to 1 instead of .5. I mean did they seriously expect us to be good at math and stuff? This change will make it so much easier for me to divide my production efficiently amongst the various constructions projects.

Focusing my thoughts further on the various construction projects. I completely agree with rushing the Extraterrestrial Colonization, furthermore I would like to elaborate on the strategy. All Peaceseekers should contribute exactly 4 production tonight. All Peacefuls should contribute all 6 production. This provides a minimum production of 66! Meaning if a Peaceseeker gets Filibustered we will still complete the project!

Futhermore, this provides Peaceseeker PRS the additional benefit of NOT BEING REVEALED! It gives the Warmongers the dilemma of killing the confirmed Peaceful or attempting to hit a hidden Peaceseeker PR.

But if we take the hit and get rid of the researcher and the town now we have some of a chance of knowing the votes will be active.

If we take a look at worst case scenario and never lynch Fruit Ninja and get to end game where one vote makes or breaks it we're boned. Sometimes we have to take our medicine and this looks like some pretty nasty medicine for not coming together and lynching their ass day one.

@Clash -- On the hunger games gun, we have no guarantee that gun will go to a town player. It could go to scum. Again it's more Russian Roulette. With the numbers right now giving potential scum a gun is a bad sign. Also why the fuck would we discuss wonder plans in front of potential scum? I should just go buy some vinyl and break it because #brokenRecord.

So I looked a bit on what Angry Birds postet so far (wasnt that hard with 6 total posts, were 2 of them were for voting Vine) and I can aggree in voting for him now,
thought Fruit Ninja is a safe choice atm, he cant possible be at 3 unhappines,
everyone starts with 1 with his night action regardless how many ppl he visits (since it is only 1 night action) he loses 1,
meaning after 2 nights he is at 1 unhappines at max.

Due to that i will vote frauit ninja for now.

To that the doomsday killer is at 0 happines atm, since he did nothing n1 = +1 happines = 2 total, night 2 kill + additional kill -2 = 0.
Meaning if he kills this night he will lose his immunity = very unlikely to happen.

Also we shouldnt forget that the warmongers have to deal with the happines mechanic too, from what i saw the Witch (WWF) did nothing at least n1,
meaning others had to go for the kill/using their action, wich decreased their happines already,

If you look at this players posts early on he is especially "Trendy". The majority of his posts stay trendy- They are hits on Vine, Instagram, and Fruit Ninja. You will also find that none of his posts have any risk of bringing him into the spot light. When he challenges a post he does it "quietly" so as not to offend (Like post 512 on cut the rope).

Then when he finally FoS's Vine it plays out like this-

Temple Run uses the logic presented in Instagrams question to back up his vote.

Everything this player does is soft. Its a real effort to stay in the shadows and off everyone's radar. The majority of his posts are small and content is lacking. His thoughts are not original and he shows little desire to scum hunt.

I would be interested to see anyone make a case that this player is town. He would probably be my most comfortable scum peg at the moment. An argument could be made for him being aligned with Kik if we get to see his role flip at some point.

I guess I raged my little heart out over the issue but I can not stand mindless lynches. My original vote on Angry Birds was a pressure vote. He could be scum but it would be a lynch off 6 posts and the only logic point was brought out by Instagram. Second, I would like to agree with Cut the Rope's points regarding assumption of roles (Though not taking any out considmoration). We'll have more to go on after Night 1. Also i second your opposition to the waving of certain parts of the body on this forum.

First post is repetitive mechanics talk on the ninth page of the game. He has no scumhunting to contribute, and instead falls back on an easy townie looking thing and buddying Cut the Rope.

Clash of Clans... voting to lynch Candy Crush Saga because you can? So you're just wasting your vote? I can't think of a reason for a peaceseeker to suggest the lynch of a confirmed peaceseeker.. regardless of the knowledge that it would not happen.

On Day 2 it seems most likely to me that Vine is scum, judging by past posts.

When he finally comes back, he apologizes for his absence (which implies a high level of self-awareness), makes a vague accusation against Vine to jump on an already inevitable lynch, and makes a singularly terrible point against Clash.

It shows that 1.Words with Friends was paying close attention to Angry Birds but not attacking him and 2. Words with Friends was concerned that Clash may attack Angry Birds over the jump on the Vine wagon.

Words with Friends saw that Angry Birds was scummy, but waited for someone else to bring it up in the hope that it wouldn’t be noticed at all.

This was also the part of the day where I started tunneling into Words with Friends and Kik started really going after me.

Back to Angry Birds:

So far Clash of Clans and Vine are my top suspects for scrum. Cut the Rope is most likely town. I need to look some more at the others

i didn't realize cut the rope's opinion was the town consensus, considering we don't have confirmation as to whether or not she's even town.
