Yes it would. However, abandoning the group is also an indicator of scum as well. Checking him resolves if he's ns or not, so we will or won't have to worry about him being the SK.

While one of them was sharpening their blade to prepare for his first kill, a scream was heard nearby and the town came to this corpse. It was Johnny Appleseed. We know nothing about Slenderman. He's not sharing at all. It's possible we are both sane.
Slenderman would be a safe lynch for today, then you add a Sheriff got a guilty read on him? Let's just go with that for today, have the Traumatized Surgeon on me or Orpz, and we will both check other people of our own choosing.
