I've played several instruments but only the piano for like 3 days. I just wasn't that interested in it. Definitely a difficult instrument though.

My favorite instrument that I've played is the drums. I can honestly say that playing rockband helped me get decent at it and actually get motivated enough to really play them. The only problem with playing a shitload of rockband THEN going to real drums is that right now I can only play songs on the real drums that I've played in the game and only if I'm hearing the guitar portion. I just got too used to visual and audio cues.

Still though, rockband drums actually does transfer to real drums... guitar however really does not. I tried guitar before and after rockband. I still sucked just the same.

you have to practice piano daily for at least 30 minutes or so. no instrument is possible to master in less than a day unless you are chuck norris. as you practice moar piano, your fingers become more reflexive
