Hi all, I'm looking for a good gaming laptop, preferably 15" or 17", below 2500$ and good enough to run games like BF3 or Metro 2033(at least on low) My current laptop sucks as in can't run SC2 even in low .Anybody know of one?

it's difficult to find a proper gaming laptop as the current prices of laptops are nearly completely random regardless of how good or bad the laptop is.
The thing you're first going to look for is performance without the laptop overheating, enough memory to handle all the process and et cetera.
I've checked the web and found MSI GT70 2013. $2,351.99

The only bad thing is W8, but that can be degraded to W7.

Thanks for your suggestion, I might consider MSI due to it's robust power, but I don't really like the design of it
If you want better design and cheaper, you might try Alienware M17X 2013. $1,642.00

The best gaming laptop is to not get a gaming laptop. They're a waste of money, enormous as fuck, and have shitty battery life. If you want to play games and have a budget like that, get a beast desktop for like $1000 and a decent laptop like an ultrabook or something for $700-1000.
Also when it comes to Windows 8, the UI is fucking horribad (even in desktop mode. The theme looks like fucking Windows 98) but it has several performance upgrades when compared to Windows 7, so I'd advise it more for a gaming machine.
Though soon enough, Linux will be the leader in gaming.
I thought it was pretty obvious that I asked for a laptop instead of a desktop.. because I frequently travel around...
Friend's house, sometimes school, sometimes I go to Singapore every week or so with my Father because of work stuffs

I hate when people ask for gaming laptop recommendations because they never give you enough information.
How often will you be mobile? How often will you be near power?
How concerned are you with price : performance?
How concerned are you with visuals? (Are you okay without 16x AA and High Shadows)
What games do you want to play?
Answer most those questions and I will make a recommendation.
None of those are any good for gaming except maybe the XPS, but not for $1200 it isn't.
