A well-played game! Congrats to everyone for participating in the most posted M-FM ever! It was our pleasure to host, and we hope you all enjoyed it as well. I'd like to give a special shout-out to those replaced in for our inactive players. Thanks to your willingness to jump into the game, we got through it without having to modkill anyone for inactivity.

If I were to host this setup again, I would make it so that God's prayer list didn't give a record of what each player had prayed night-after-night. As ThePaladin (Fred Robinson) quickly discovered, this was mildly OP for town and made their win condition much easier than it should have been; SuperJack (Thomas King) was able to determine that Firebringer (Bertha Anderson) was cult before he was. This made the game more dependent on night actions than we were hoping, and this aspect would certain be changed in the future.

This game was kinda out of our norm. I got kinda apathetic near the end and wiped my last will because I felt like there was so little analysis going on. Between the lurkers, the replacements, and the player base acting so dependent on night actions it left day chat kinda lacking and the experience was somewhat unfulfilling for me. This pattern almost kept me from signing up for the next one.

That aside it was a very entertaining game. I was only alive for a hand full of days but I really did enjoy some moments quite a bit. There were scum nailed from slips and bad plays and tearing through stacks of information is always entertaining. Right now I am really looking forward to reading the scum night chats. Gg Guys : )

I was very happy with my reads this game and even had every scum in the red faction softly pegged as scum from playing 1 day of chat and skipping the earlier days but I think I actually town read Frozen Angel. Now I have to spend time to figure out what I did wrong. This slot played well even after her teammate kinda threw themselves under the bus.

Yeah...there were a few glaring issues that way. Then we went back into "Scum all lurk" because scum didn't want to say what they prayed for or confirm night actions. We didn't do much scumhunting to be honest. It was just through actions, which didn't feel very mafia like.

I was very frustrated at multiple points being roleblocked then converted, and outed as soon as I was converted based on mechanics.

This wasn't a game of Mafia and I'm not treating it as such. It was literally "let's spot the difference using this Google Spreadsheet" and nothing else.

I will say that the Sinners were exceptionally bad. Their win condition was to see EVERYONE be sinful and they had two roles which would make two players sinful every night (thus screwing up the God-mod plan)...yet they wasted their roleblocking role on the same player and went out of their way to kill confirmed townies when that wasn't an optimal strategy for them.

Fred Robinson: N2 being converted, D3 revealing as GOD (The most conformable role in the game) and he let himself get baited into hard claiming, tried to fake confirm feedback, then tried to backtrack once he realized he was trapped.

Clara Wilson: Pretty much got nailed to the wall for a retarded night kill. It was blatantly obvious that Ethel had only really focused on Clara and the fact that Ethel had already been marked by the arsonist made the kill extremely sub-optimal for a factional kill. Screwed by another terrible scum move.

What caught me most yesterday was her post 490 in which she presented a sexy case on M-FM Clara Wilson's phrasing. Even before she posted it I stated I had the exact same feeling that Clara was simply holding up a mirror to the town and reflecting the towns opinions back at them. Clara did not even phrase it as if the thoughts were coming from his perspective. This could potentially be why Ethel was night killed. We should pressure Clara hard today.

Bertha Anderson: Killed by the red faction N4. But whyyyy. Obviously scum. I kinda doubt anyone actually bought my chicken little play that the sky was falling.. Another bad scum play

Mary Hughes: This one was just nuts. D5 claimed Detective outing David Graham as the arsonist while he was the arsonist. I have no idea what the play was here. He 100% knew that the players flip would confirm he was full of shit and ended up getting the Prime sinner lynched before this got him lynched D6. (I will also note that it suggested the antichrist action was to force that David visit which nobody bothered to call out, It will be interesting to see if the host breakdown confirms this)

I mean....yeah. Scum team screwed up several times. Does that mean God wasn't OP though? Like just because town didn't get screwed over doesn't mean this game was balanced much to begin with. You talked about how by Potentially Day 3 the scum would outnumber the town.
