I asked it in a striaghtforward manner just to be sure I wasn't talking about the potiential loss of points that you get at the end.

Sounds like a banable offense, but I was only asking in reguards to your total points being subtracted if you quit before the conclusion of the game.

somewhat sure Gingerape was messing with you...

i am pretty sure all points are removed from your account when you bet... and then the winners get the points when they win...
at least that's how i'd program it... no way to cheat it by disconnecting

ive played roulette games after ppl have long left to finish it and if they lose it says they lost points and that i gotten them. i think it still holds true on the roulette thing. as for rage-quitting games i think not

The game automatically takes away a few points at the beginning of the game.
It adds those points and whatever other points you earned at the end of the game. These other points are the points show next to everyone's names at the end.

I don't know exactly how many it is, but I remember DR specifically stating this some time ago.

I think he add potential losses 5 points, which is reasonable.

You lose 5 points which you suppose to have if you left.

Let me clarify what creed and ginger were saying:
For leaving Early- The game takes points at the beginning, and returns them either when you die legitimately (i.e. NOT SUICIDE) or when the game concludes, if you were legitimately killed you can leave without penalty. Games Played is incremented when the mafia logo displays at the beginning according to DR.

For Roulette: The game subtracts your bet amount from your score when the game begins, so leaving at any time during roulette causes loss of your bet.

This is all info I got straight from DR.

I just tested it. If you leave a game, it's indeed saved to your bank file (some entries are increased or decreased by 1). When I requeued, it did not affect my number of games played or points though.

So either that works somehow similar to ranked games, not as intended or your information is outdated.
