That's right, this is the one everyone has secretly been brooding over for years now. Need I even say the question? Certainly not, given that it's all too obvious. The answer is no, well, I will just wait till it hits the bargain bin. Objectively speaking, I feel more stress than joy when I play; moreover I just no longer possess the free time required to ascend among the ranks of the elite.
Subjectively speaking, even though Blizzard games are usually very polished, they miss this little intangible concept you may know as fun, and usually replace it with infinite grinding and more recently micro transactions. Now some of you are saying, "Fun? That's just a buzzword used when you don't have any idea how to describe a redeeming trait of a game." Well, I have news for you, turbonerd: here in reality a game is either worth playing or it is not worth playing. That is why I do not trust star rating systems, because they are conceptually flawed. As if an objective 7 out of 10 stars is less worthy of being played than a mighty 8 out of 10 (or you know one of those 10 out of 10's that got in bed with the reviewer/publisher).
So I will buy SC2 HotS when it is =<15$, because frankly it is just going to be more of the same and the ending was spoiled ages ago. Not that Blizzard can write worth a damn anymore. Fanservice Anime has more substance than Blizzard games nowadays.
