Point Reset.

I know theres a thread for this, but it say something about version 1.8
I dont know which version this happened.

Ok lets begin.
For a long time i stopped playing mafia (and sc2 pretty much) for personal reasons, (Ehem, minecraft), and when i came back my points got resetted. I didnt care a lot about it back then because i though it was only models and hat, so i didnt report.
But while looking at help to see what the new mass murderer role did, i noticed that now with points you can do things such as coloured name, choosing execution and blacklisting roles.
And that interests me.
So i would wish to get back my points.

I already lost my points once, WAY LONG AGO, i got them back. My account back them was Sarzael without the 5. Tried to use that account but couldnt, i tried to recover it though email, but when i tried to log in on my email (Which havent used in years) it said it was blocked and i needed to email a friend to whose i dont have acess anymore.
I tried to search for a thread of my old account to see if i could find any help by looking at my old profile, but when i did, it said my rank was Guest and i didnt have profile. (https://www.sc2mafia.com/forum/showth...hlight=Gambler Which now is at a Old Mafia Warehouse thing)

Since i dont know exactly how much points i had, ill say same as last time: Last hat i had was Pirate Hat.
Both my SC2 Name and Mafia name are Drone (In mafia may be Sarzael, but i think is Drone)

Last time they asked me to find a folder or something, but not sure how to do it so ill wait for help before triying anything...

Perhaps restart was due updates?

Are you on a new computer/have you formatted your hard drive recently?

Also, ball park area of when the last time was that you played.

Also, ploblem is, that i have been played for a few days now. I noticed today that i actually wanted my points back.
And i dont remember before that about what time i played with all my points, but ill say a few months.

Of 2012? Clearly later (I hope). Got bad long term memory for this kind of stuff.
May try to find thread of first time my score got reseted if that would be somehow helpful.

blacklist and such were all around, point wise, starting about April last year.
What is your ID? I can see if it is in our records.

Points are stored locally on your own harddrive

Nvm won 300 points in roulette and got it back.
Sorry for having you lose your time, anyways, ill do what Mugy said about backing up points.

I'd like to add to this a little bit. I stopped playing before MM was added, and when I came back I had all my points and Games Played but my Win count was reset. It makes it look really odd having nearly 300 games played and so few wins. I hadn't done anything to my SC2 install between then and now, so not sure what caused it.

Wins were reset in April when achievements were added. Even if you waited a long time before playing again it would still reset the wins.

No problem, It was a consequence of changing the format of the bank file.
