I was reflecting today how I neglect my gaming PC by keeping it healthy for over two years, and have over 20 PC games, but you don't really how shitty they are until you buy them sometimes. So I look forward to the future of good game development, but I do play SC2 Mafia and Skyrim, and Sims 3 on here at the moment.

Why did you pick your username for SC2? Is it the same as the ones you pick in other games, or just one you thought of that wasn't chosen?

I chose Necroplant because it's a portmanteau of awesome and planting. Yes, in fiction there could be one. You know, I read in the Star Wars wiki that the Sarlacc pit monster has been classified by scientists as an animal/plant organism, in that it eats nutrition from the soil AND eats anything that falls into it!

Other game name experiences I've had:

-The SC2 Mafia name censorship campaign, where you couldn't even name yourself Hitler or Stalin.
-When "Age of Conan" was released, I realized that the official forum mods had a placeholder on names for them in-game, so I couldn't impersonate them lol.
-Having my name-rights removed for breaking graveyard in SC2 Mafia.

Slaol. Aeons ago when I needed an account name for WC3 I asked my brother to pick it for me since names can be hard to come up with on the spot. I had recently read a book and Slaol was an old English Sun God.......... or something.

I honestly don't remember how, when, or why I ever first used the name Glip.

It goes back farther than I can remember. Atleast 10 years, I think.

And ever since then, I've just always used Glip.

I like it. Short. Sweet. Easy to remember. Rarely taken.

Recently there's been an upsurge in the frequency with which Glip is taken.

Maybe I'm getting popular and people are stealing my name, maybe I'm forgetting stuff that I've already made accounts for.

Regardless, when Glip is taken, I use Glipocalypse. That's never been taken.
