    New Role: Stalker

    Role Name: Stalker
    Description: You are a deranged, but deadly individual who likes to follow others.

    Alignment: Neutral - Killing

    Actions: At night by using the 'Follow' command on another player, you will kill that player's target. If your target's target is yourself then you will kill your target.

    Benefits: Another type of neutral killing role. It would be fun to be this role and to tactically select your targets.

    Switches:
    Invulnerable at night = ON / OFF

    Role Mechanics:
    If following a witch, the Stalker will attack the Witch's target.
    If following a Busdriver the Stalker will attack the Busdriver's Secondary target.
    If following a role that visits nobody the Stalker will attack his target.
    If witched or Busdriven to follow himself, the Stalker will attack himself.
    If tracked by a detective, the Stalker will be seen visiting his target, and not his target's target.

    So, since you're the rolemaker - tell us how this would happen :

    Busdriver switches your position and the target of the busdriver with another busdriver, leading to a parallelle loop with a witch making X visit Z so that there's the Targets-Targets-Targets-Target?

    Random as it sounds, but if that occurs - who would be the initial target?

    Would be fun if everyone involved were suddenly killed.



    I support the role, but I'm thinking of the targeting system when it's becoming rather "killed" by the target changes.

    What happens if he follows a target who stays at home? Will he fap at his window?

    The Stalker will attack his target's target, not the visitors of his target like the MM does.

    Thanks Ekkeh. I've updated the role mechanics. The SK does have the advantage of choosing who to kill outright, so I'll allow the Stalker some leniency with Detectives and Lookouts.

    I'm glad some of you like my suggestion.

    I don't think you copied. I found dozens of ideas in R&D that I also came up with myself with no exterior suggestion. There are only so many directions to go.

    He is just going through the process of coming up with the ideas that I think we all went over once or twice in our heads. I am sure he will find some gold at some point.

    Yeah, theres a similar thought pattern or process users tend to take when coming up with new roles.

    I think there are plenty of things that don't exist that aren't all that complex. Sleuth? But most of them just won't have effects enough worth implementing, and as such are moved on from.
