Apparently in the fake takeover, Yayap hacked the site and demoted Oops from super admin to regular admin. That is why Oops did a reroll of the site. That is why Yayap was banned.

You guys deserve to know the truth!

If this were true, why wouldn't they just tell us? Better to damage the reputation of a banned user and hacker than to damage the reputation of the existing staff by causing allegations of unjust bans and abuse.

Why would it matter if oops was demoted while he was banned and Rap and Lys were still admins? Wouldn't they just repromote him after? Or DR would, if there really is such a thing as "super"admin, which he would be.

I think that a super admin is like the top of the chain. It is what prevents people from doing a real takeover...

Believe it or not... your story is not too far from the truth. You just have certain names wrong.

While Blazer, Lysergic, Raptorblaze did a fake takeover... Yayap actually did a REAL takeover. He hacked into a SuperAdmin account. He had demoted Oops from SuperAdmin to reg Admin and had made small changes here and there...

Thus the need for the Forum Rollback.. Aka Oops loosing power.

He knew that he'd be banned for doing what he did, in fact, he was planning on it. I'm just surprised that the Mod Team is covering it up. Shame on them.

This is what my sleeper agent told me, when he was talking about my story, he meant -The Takeover- thread.

He was banned for the same reason he was demoted, and I can't say more than that. "Later banned" is not an accurate term in this case because they were simultaneous.

Ah, I was just confused because there seemed to be a long period of time, atleast a few days, that Yayap was white and a normal user, before the "takeover," and I didn't notice him being actually banned until after the "takeover."

I even remember a couple times him complaining about being unjustly demoted from smod, although if I recall correctly, there was a just reason.

It's a volunteer job to support the community, are you saying being say... a priest is not a job? They're just a leader in a church community. By your definition being a President or Senator of a country is not a job because they were simply elected by their community to be part of the government. The only major difference is we don't get paid for what we do.

There is no basis of reason for continuing to ask the same questions over and over if the response given doesn't change.
Once that happens the only thing to do is start a petition to undo what the people in power have done.

I don't think you understand... There is no my side of the story. The reasons he was demoted and banned had nothing to do with me, I may know what they are but I agreed to obey certain rules when I became a staff member, one of which is not discussing demotions and why they took place. I understand and agree with the rule, but it is not my decision. You are acting as if myself or other staff are purposely trying to deceive you when this is not the case, it's simply our policy to respect our former colleague's privacy and not divulge the reasons they were either demoted or banned. If the reasons had a real impact on the community itself (as when FalseTruth left) DR would issue a public statement explaining. They do not.

I think Yapyap was a very important member of the community, he was Global Mod for some time after all. It's just unusual to have a former Global mod banned with no explanation to the majority of forum members. DR should really make a public statement about why Yapyap was demoted and subsequently banned...
