I don't think Landstander was ever banned from the game. The reason he was banned from the site was because he was the center of a lot of drama. The staff is a little more mature and wouldn't ban someone from the game for not breaking any in-game rules.
Ahh ok. That makes sense
Does he run both CorLeone and CorIeone?

When we talked about pubs, we are talking about us.
When they talked about pubs, they exclude themselves.
They say only bad players want to modify citizens, and they do not satisfy bad players.
Are we bad players? We include bad players, but that is just a part of us.
---They put veteran, mayor, allowed jester to visit for nothing, and they regretted and say those things are brainless.
He was actually banned ingame for rampant mod abuse as well as griefing with the intention of harassing specific players (namely, donors and anyone he suspected was staff) but every time we tried to enforce the ban he whined to DR that we're just doing it to harass him. So we made a deal that as long as he doesn't speak to the staff and harass players any further we'll just let him be (we also removed his mod powers).
I've been banned from game and had my points reset multiple times for being a little over zealous in speaking with Raptor, which I did provoke him, I shan't lie, but DR just restores them the next day, and you say I abused mod powers, and have have yet to furnished a single replay or a parcel of evidence. I'll be honest. I just pissed staff off, and few of us didn't see eye to eye, resulting in the aforementioned consequence of losing Admin powers. In my defense, It's been a blue moon since I've seen a mod play Mafia when Moderate is in their job description. Now it's just a status symbol, and I don't think there's a counter-argument to that. Nonetheless, there's no need to fabricate fallacious accusations. And though I will likely be banned by Raptor personally after he sees this post, I just think its rather unfair to talk so much shit about someone without giving them the opportunity to defend themselves. I don't like having a bad Rap, I mean Rep. 1 is enough.
Best Regards,
Landstander

I think it's cute how he keeps coming back.
I will say Kudos to Mafia now though, for finally banning one of their corrupt Mods. Hopefully they got Ambient too.
Let's see what I can remember.... I'll list the reasons he was fired and eventually banned. Is it still unprofessional for ex-staff to discuss ex-staff? Idk. I'll say my opinion straight up was that I liked him on a personal level, but he was not pleasant to work with.
- Mod power abuse, repeatedly
- Abuse of fellow staff members (Repeatedly, and despite multiple correctional attempts and warnings. When I asked why he refused to stop he said just told me it was his job. No idea what he meant by that.)
- After being fired, impersonating a staff member and general violations of site rules
- Continued and ongoing harassment of senior staff, including but not limited to threats of physical violence, and forming a clan then specifically sending any gullible members he could convince out to find and harass those senior staff who had blocked him in order to bypass said blocks. This included a large variety of derogatory statements. Most of this was directed at me since I was the one who fired him in the end.
- Refusal to obey an agreement that we would not permanently ban him if he just stopped the above stated harassment. He agreed, then continued, then said he broke the agreement because we had no honor anyway.
- Falsely claiming that his clan(s) were "Official".
I'm perfectly willing to answer any questions on the matter, but please keep it to a factual basis. I'd prefer not to defame anyone. (Legally speaking, stating the truth is not defamation, hence why the above is not.)
Apologies to the moderator who inevitably yells at me about this (Slaol probably), but I felt the need to finally explain.
I'll probably get in trouble with a moderator over this, but I felt the need to finally divulge the truth.
Don't do what you're doing Raptor.
My apologies to Dark Revenant and Creed for naively including them in the list of corruptness. Not sure about Akira but he's gone so it doesn't matter.
Akira was just temperamental, his heart was always in right the place. As was Ambient's.... you should pm me telling me what you mean when you say he's corrupt. I'm curious. You probably don't agree with his actions but I can virtually guarantee he had specific reason for them. You don't stay warden by randomly abusing people.
I've already said my piece on landykins *cough*
Similar to Land, Ambient just banned whomever he pleased, even people that did nothing wrong. I saw him in-game ban people for lag chatting even though.
1) Everyone lag chats. It's inevitable.
2. NO one lag chatted. Literally, no one. He's seeing things.
I'm totally fine with banning trolls or gamebreakers, but banning someone because "you don't like them" is plausible for denying their authority to have that power at all.
When we talk Starcraft, temperamental is not someone you want to be, especially when you have ban-powers.
Lawl. Ambient wasn't corrupt. Hell, he's the one who put in place most of the procedures that staff still uses for policing the game.
In-game ban powers were only introduced about 5 months ago, Ambient was last seen a year ago, and was last staff a year before that. I think you've mistaken something else for in-game banning?

LANDSTANDER DID NOTHING WRONG

Spoiler : Forum Mafia :
I'm quite positive it was Ambient, since I have notes from 2012 about recent games (at the time) about him in-game banning.
No In-Game banning has been around forever. It's how whole TOS breaking fiasco started.
And yet Landstander did the same thing at the same time so it's clearly possible.
lol Time for you to step down. That kind of language won't be tolerated. I didn't create this thread so you can go take your edge and direct it torwards the OP. 3 years ago? Mmm more like 1 year 1/2. Please stop stretching things.
