    Epilogue

And so it came, the dawn of a new day. The sun had just peeked over the horizon and revealed two men in trench coats on main street fifty paces away from each other. Staring each other in the eye, they knew the time had come to determine who is the rightful ruler of this now deserted town and who was going to join the rotting corpses in the graveyard.

It had taken half a month to clear out all the others from the streets leaving only two. Dressed similar to the old west, bandanas covering their faces and cowboy hats included, they could now feel the hot sun rising in the sky off to the east. Galloway, knowing that Rose would never trust any soma again had brought a new weapon to the fight. A .357 Magnum now rested in his holster with his trigger hand twitching nearby. His opponent, held a colt 42 in his.

Galloway shouted: “There is nothing left for you here Rose! This is your last chance to leave town alive, I rule this town and there ain’t no room for you in it. Get out!”

Only the sound of the wind blowing across the road responded to him as his opponent didn’t even move a muscle.

”Didn’t you hear me, scram!” he repeated now reaching for his gun. He fired one, two, three shots at the man standing across from him who didn’t even blink.

“You never were a good shot Galloway” he said in a calm voice. “That’s why the mafia relied on laced drugs, you guys can’t shoot worth a bean.”

This only angered Galloway more as he fired three more times in that general direction, not even hitting once.

His gun now empty, only the clicks of empty chambers could be heard.

“You know, you should have learnt to keep your mouth shut, the town rules clearly stipulate that out of game discussion was prohibited. Now you will face the full punishment of the law.”

As the man took off his hat and bandana, it revealed someone Galloway was not expecting, for it was not Rose, but the FM Game Master behind the mask. Drawing his colt 42, the same colt that he had offered to Fontaine, he fired five bullets into Galloways chest.

As Galloway collapsed to the ground, he saw Rose emerge from the hotel down the street. Now ruler of this town and victorious.

    And so it went.

It was hard to go through the reset sequence. I needed to rest.

    But yet I did not.

    It was too late now.

    I had watched it all.

The murders. The truly vicious nature of the human being.

Humans are terrible creatures, evil beings, that without society, will destroy and continue to.

    And they won.

I raise my last glass to the Savages.

    For they alone survived.

    Thoughts

    General/Hosting
First of all, I'd like to thank everyone who participated in FM18! I hope you all had fun! This game's setup was meant to be challenging with a mafia full of roles that can cause confusion, a cult with the potential to fill up with investigative PRs, and a town full of some pretty high power non-investigative PRs. A lot of the roles included had scum/town analogues, which was intended to help cast a lot of doubt on who you truly could trust.

I'm happy to report that we didn't have any lurking related modkills in this game since I was able to scrounge up enough replacements. A big thank you to all of the replacements for making this possible, and I really REALLY encourage you (especially the new "this is my first big FM" replacements) to consider trying out a big FM as a starting player. It really broke my heart when a few replacements posted that this is probably going to be their only big FM since the big ones are too large and overwhelming.

This game ended up lasting a lot longer than expected, and ended up being a lot closer than anticipated. It also wasn't without its errors:

Spoiler : Explanation of Errors for Those who are Interested :
The Night 1 non-standard feedback that was sent out was due to a host miscommunication about actually having feedback templates. I actually found the error when double checking the feedback that was sent out. FM Bishop's feedback was incredibly non-standard and included the name of the person he followed, their target, and bypassed bussing! I quickly fixed FM Bishop's PM, but not before he had seen the results. Luckily he died before he could make use of the two night action results he had been given so it didn't affect the game that much.

Other Night 1 errors include FM Kalou accidentally being told that he was not allowed to kill on Night 1 (I was actually unaware of this error until Yayap discovered it when the original Kalou replaced back in), and confusion about night action submission rules in the mafia chat. We forgot to post night action submission instructions, so FM Buchwalter got a bit of a nasty shock when a teammate posted actions for them in bolded red text when he originally had intended to do nothing. The next night, we were sure to post explicit rules about night action submissions. You can read more in mafia night chat about this.

The journalist interview that was "not sent due to a host error" from Day 4 was actually sent to FM Dunn's daychat account, but not to both his daychat and night chat accounts like we usually tried to do. An unfortunate sequence of events led to me not having access to a majority of night actions from Day 4 with FM Game Master unavailable due to unexpected "Dad Problems." 1 hour before day was scheduled to be posted, I was literally logging into each FM account to find everyone's actions. I got this really sinking feeling when I saw the unopened journalist interview PM sitting in FM Dunn's inbox since he had made no mention of the interview in the mafia night chat. After briefly conversing with FM Dunn on skype, I just made a quick judgement call to allow him the duration of Day 4 to submit an article.

Another hosting related issue that I can think of is the unclear win conditions listed on the setup! I feel a bit miffed that this got past us! Future hosts take note!

There were also some issues with setting up cult night chat accounts and moving people to deadchat that Yayap was able to help with after he joined the hosting team. You may have seen him posting from both FM Cohen and FM Game Master in deadchat or in the various night chats. This game definitely would have been a lot harder on both Rocshi and myself without Yayap stepping in to help and advise us. I wanted to make sure to mention this so he can get the recognition he deserves. < : )

I feel like I learned a lot and grew immensely as a first time big FM host. I have a ton of respect for past hosts since it's HARD and involves constant monitoring of things on the site. A lot of the errors we had were due to host miscommunication, despite working well together and actually communicating a lot on a daily basis. Feel free to ask about any other errors/hosting related questions that I forgot to cover here.

    Town
The town had a ton of really powerful roles this game and an interesting Soma mechanic that can allow certain players to send messages or use two night actions. FM Black's soma didn't end up affecting the game that much, but FM Parker's did - just not in the way we had initially anticipated! Our thought was that soma could be passed from town to town and used in conjunction with the architect to create a really strong town communication network. In this case, all soma that was passed ended up going to scum! I feel like this mechanic played out pretty balanced and added to the game nicely.

With this setup, town was in a rough spot losing the architect on night 1 and having a bunch of really scummy lurking citizens. By the numbers, town lynched 4 town and 8 scum. I think one of the town's biggest weaknesses in this game was losing random members to blackmail suicides due to not being super careful about the blackmail limitations. The second huge weakness was when all the town power roles revealed in daychat... for no particular reason!

Town play I liked includes FM Black explaining to me the strategy behind his soma usage and clubbings (unfortunately none of them connected), FM Cafarelli leading the lynch on FM Cohen the Arsonist and generally leading town in the right direction, FM Monroe blocking the savage godfather who was going to kill him... but then getting witched so he died anyway, FM Parker using cool soma note codes to communicate and doing lynches gladiator style (this may not have been the best since it alters natural lynch trains, but it was still pretty interesting), and FM Galletta for honing in on the soma code as a key piece of evidence.

    Mafia
The mafia also had a ton of powerful roles this game that were primarily meant to cause confusion. This was further enhanced with two drug dealers who had the capability to drug no feedback to players. This mechanic actually worked nicely in a lot of instances like sidelining FM Cafarelli, the town investigator, and sending a fake soma message to the mayor.

Also deserving of mention in the epilogue is the modified Blackmailer role card. We had envisioned it at its core as a nerfed ventriloquist from FM17 that can control daytime votes without having complete control over a player's posts for the day. Perhaps it was a mistake to leave things so open ended as it was frustrating for both the players and the hosts to get blackmail messages approved in time. The mafia was also really frustrated with the two day time window for completion of blackmails. The reasoning behind this was that the mafia had the opportunity to do a lot of cool things with the role like communicating with potential scum or turning epsilons into jesters. In hindsight, it seems like in trying to allow for more usage possibilities the role became overly convoluted in restrictions, etc. If we had to do things over again, I think we would include pre-set blackmails to choose from. Feel free to share your comments on this role's strengths and weaknesses since I know a lot of people had things to say about it in dead chat or to me via PM.

I think the mafia's biggest weakness in this game was lack of cooperation in night chat. There were a ton of moments where the mafia night chat would be filled with rage posts despite each player seeming really cool and collected in daychat.

Mafia play I liked includes FM Buchwalter's organization of information in his lists and tallies, FM Dunn almost talking himself out of a lynch, FM Donnelly organizing the drug dealers to send a fake soma note to FM Parker the mayor, FM Mendez's fake enforcer claim, and using a drugged blackmail note to communicate with FM Ryan, the witch.

    Savages
The Savages had an interesting recruitment mechanic. The savage godfather had the option of turning recruits into investigative power roles, but only if they were originally deltas. The purpose of this mechanic was to specifically discredit any investigative PR claims, and was balanced by having the godfather's death result in half the cult suiciding.

The savages had a lot of problems this game. The savage godfather broke his arm and was replaced... by someone who needed to be replaced... so we put the original savage GF back in the game. Their recruits were also largely unsuccessful in the early game which put them a bit behind on recruits. Somehow this seemed to work out as recruit slots were still available late game to pick up the most ideal candidates.

Savage play I liked includes their usage of death notes and focus firing on really good kill targets like the mason clubber and the escort.

    Evil Neutrals
The evil neutrals were a witch and an arsonist. The interesting part about the arsonist role card in this setup is the night douse / day burns. I had imagined a "scum trial by day" where the arsonist douses someone who might try to act scummy or communicate secretly with the arsonist and softclaim mafia in order to escape being burned. Unfortunately the arsonist had other plans and refused to douse, decreasing the KPN to essentially just the mafia kill. As hosts, this was a bit of a headache, but hey, we're not here to tell people how to play the game.

Both Evil Neutrals at least played an interesting game, if a little non-standard. FM Cohen the arsonist fake claimed poisoned and refused to douse anybody. FM Ryan the witch revealed in daychat and attempted to go for a solo win. It's a shame none of the other scum factions attempted to coordinate with the evil neutrals earlier on via deathnotes or drugged messages.

    Benign Neutrals
The two epsilons in this game were corrupt journalists. This was a slight nod to the community's love of the journalist role that seemed to arise out of FM17. However in this game, there were three different possible journalists - two of them being scum aligned! I feel like as a corrupt journalist it's hard to balance pretending to give town inspired interviews while still not wanting to assist town to the extent that a regular journalist might.

Unfortunately FM Becket died for seeming too towny, and FM Earle ended up getting a mafia member lynched with the whole soma fiasco.

    Awards
And now the moment you've all been waiting for!

MVP - Burnt Eskimo (FM Mendez)

After getting off to a bit of a rough start with everyone finding his nightchat account (FM Artaxerxes) reading Day 1, FM Mendez really stepped up to the role of Mafia Godfather. He consistently posted solid analysis in daychat and nightchat, and maintained a really levelheaded disposition while the rest of his nightchat members were raging at each other. In the endgame he made a pretty convincing mason enforcer claim, and I think he was really only caught because of the savages' failed attempt to kill him. All in all, we were extremely impressed with his overall performance during this FM which is why MVP goes to Burnt Eskimo as FM Mendez, the Mafia Godfather.

    Player's Choice - TBD
FM Parker used new and novel was to guide the town to three straight correct lynches. She missed one, but would have had at least one lynch (FM Galloway) if she hadn't got laced soma. She left many clues as to who the scum were upon her death. Ex: Notes with FM Galloway, and the false mason claim. The biggest downside to FM Parker is that she was new and appeared a little confused. The people have spoken! Congratulations to FM Parker, and I can't wait to see what you do in future FMs!

Best Town - Apache (FM Cafarelli)

During this FM, we were really impressed with Apache's gutsy play that led him to lynch the Arsonist! He was also generally helping nudge the town in the right direction while he was still alive. There was no doubt in our minds that he's the rightful recipient of the Best Town award. Ultimately we decided against awarding a town MVP since Apache's early reveal hurt town in the long run when the mafia just feedback blocked him, and his reasoning on which he pinned FM Cohen as scum was a bit shaky. Nevertheless, Apache is definitely one to keep a close eye on in future games! Congratulations to Apache as FM Cafarelli for winning the Best Town award!

Aspiring Newcomer - Deantwo (FM Buchwalter)

For those of you who don't know him, Deantwo is the man who helps keep sc2mafia's wiki up to date! This is his first FM, and he quickly used tables, lists, and tallies to help remind everyone of role and feedback claims that occurred during the day. Although he made some mistakes, including passing his soma to the godfather to perform a double kill which exposed him as scum, he put in a really solid effort in both day and night chat which makes the hosts excited to see what he'll do in future FMs. Congratulations Deantwo, for winning the Aspiring Newcomer award!

Best Replacement - Mateo (FM Galletta)

Forum Mafia can be overwhelming just based on the sheer number of players and posts involved. Now consider replacing into a game (that you never even signed up for!) on Day 7 and having to read through everything. On top of that, you replaced into a slot that many people believe to be the blackmailer. The players have voted Mateo as FM Galletta the Delta as the Best Replacement of FM18 for going up against these odds and managing to provide some really insightful analysis. One of my favorite moments was when he decided to pressure FM Galloway about his soma code. Congratulations Mateo!

    MVPuzzler - Phyr (FM Bishop)

During this FM I decided to run a completely optional Battlestar Galactica puzzle game in deadchat just to give dead and reserve players something fun to work on. I wasn't really sure if people would be interested or if the difficulty level of the puzzles would be appropriate. When FM Bishop died in FM on Night 2, I was dismayed since he's one of my favorite FM players... but then he joined the puzzle game! First he was a human, and then he awoke as a Cylon. He singlehandedly brought down the human race and ensured a Cylon victory. Be sure to check out his awesome puzzle solving skills and his villanous post at the very end when humans were assured of defeat. Thanks for making my puzzle game really fun, and congrats to Phyr for winning Most Valuable Puzzler!

Night Action Prediction Gamer Winner - ypmagic (FM Green)

During Nights 13 and 14, we had a night action prediction game in deadchat. Much to my utter shock, FM Green who only participated on Night 14, got all the actions correct and jumped into first place. Put this guy on your watch list, and let's see if he can live up to his reputation in the next FM as the night action prediction winner of FM18! This is one guy who knows his WIFOM! Congratulations ypmagic!

    Modkills
Sometime after Day 14 was closed, it was brought to the hosts' attention that certain players were in violation of Rule #2 about no out of game discussion. One of the players in question (Damus_Graves - FM Galloway) was still alive in FM, discussing the setup and receiving advice from other dead players. Two weeks ago I had specifically warned this same player to stop using skype for out of game discussion with dead players, and he had acknowledged my warning and promised to stop. Comparison of time stamps revealed that the skype conversation in question took place before FM Galloway submitted his final actions.

Out of game communication is highly disrespectful to the other FM participants, the hosts, and to the game. We are extremely disappointed in Damus_Graves for participating in out of game discussion even after being explicitly warned against it.

Further review of the skype chat in question includes a lot of grey area. We have decided to posthumously modkill ika (FM Lichtmann) and give him a dishonorable mention for instructing Damus_Graves on what action to perform and mentioning that one of the cohosts (clementine) was not present to witness the out of game communication to punish it.

We did not make this decision lightly and have reviewed the situation countless times to try to determine the most appropriate and fair decision for all parties involved. The evidence that led us to make this difficult decision is present here: https://www.sc2mafia.com/forum/showth...something-chat

    Re: Epilogue

Oh yeah, while I'm here, I'm going to pass a message to admins... If you are going to make a new theme for major Forum Mafia, please reserve a "Naruto" theme for the future. FM XVII used "One Piece" theme, right? So in the distant future (hopefully this autumn) expect a theme from another popular anime series... that is, if Raptorblaze is willing to cooperate with me once again.

Back to this game... Well I really sucked for being too overconfident. I indeed received a message from mafia... and I was sure that they would help me. There was a chance to lynch Chapman, but unfortunately Mendez missed that chance after Kelso unvoted him. And who would think that Rose actually choose to lynch me over Mendez.

    Re: Epilogue

    WARNING: Huge text wall below

First off, I'd like to thank Clementine, Rocshi, and Yayap for hosting. Overall it was a fun game, even though I hated my role and found it to be infuriatingly weak, luckily there is more to FMs than night actions and I enjoyed analyzing the day and trying to strategize at night.

This brings me the next thing I'd like to discuss- the night chat rage. For whatever reason CmG and I do not get along well in FMs. I don't know why, I guess we just irk each other. Though in my defense, he also seemed to butt heads with Damus and Slaol. Only Buchwalter and Mendez seemed to have reasonable, cordial discussions with him. Once he died, however, the night chat was much more cooperative and productive.

I feel I should also apologize for criticizing the blackmailer so much during the game. As I've said, I found it incredibly frustrating and since I didn't really have any other outlet for my frustration, I just dumped it into the night chat. To be honest, I was half-hoping you guys would get sick of it and give me a new role, or at least change some of your rulings on certain things I had asked about to give it a little bit more power. But you never did.

One other thing I'd like to mention- Damus' modkill. Technically since modkills aren't specifically listed in the setup, they should occur simultaneously with all other kills which means his action to kill Rose should still have gone through and resulted in a mafia win (in addition to savage and corrupt journalist win). I understand that it's part of his punishment, except that now the rest of the mafia also suffers.

    On the game:

    To town:
You guys did pretty well, despite what people were saying towards the end about "fail town" and such. It really hurt you guys that we hit some power roles early. And Vornksr the architect on night one! I bet the game would have been very different if not for that kill. In the end it still was a close game. 1 vs 1 vs 1 on the final day. It doesn't get any closer than that! I was actually impressed by a lot of the players this game. There was a relatively high level of participation, and I felt like most people were genuinely invested in the game, which helps me to be invested in it as well.

to Vornksr: I feel like I always get you killed early! In FM 16 I framed you and got you lynched and in this FM I was the one who suggested we kill you night one. Sorry! Here's hoping you make it to day 3 next time!

to Titus: I know you got a lot of flak for your actions as mayor, and I will say that you did make some mistakes. But I think you also did a few very good things which are worthy of praise. First of all, you got Buchwalter lynched, which was the first weakness in our mafia's armor, so to speak. Second, you managed to coordinate town such that by the end of each day, TWO people could potentially be lynched. This gave the town a lot more flexibility in reacting to new information and changing pressure during the day, which was pretty good, even if it did result in a few mislynches.

to Apache: You did really well! I have to say, you were pretty spot on in most of your analyses. It's a shame town never quite trusted you enough to use your leads. If they had, town might have won long before day 15. But that's why I wanted to kill you before they started to trust you. In any case, good job on your part.

to Azuriae: I got you killed again! Good job though. We blackmailed you for a reason, after all. Hope you enjoyed the play!

    to my fellow mafia:
Once I figured out the COMs of certain people in our night chat on the first/second night of the game, I couldn't believe my good fortune. Me, Slaol, Damus, AND CmG in one night chat seemed pretty OP (sorry Buchwalter and Mendez... I had no idea who you guys were.) I tried to make my COM pretty obvious to you guys. Clem said there were certain things I couldn't say (like mentioning my account names from previous FMs and stuff) so I just tried to play into my meta during the night. It seemed to work, since CmG was able to correctly guess my COM in dead chat.

Congrats on the MVP, Mendez. Even though you broke my MVP streak! But I've seen this coming for a while. I knew my blackmailer rage and arguments with CmG were going to keep me from getting it. lol But you did play quite well, so if I couldn't get it, I'm glad you did.

CmG- Not sure why we can't get along. Did I kill your family or something without realizing it? You seem to always have it out for me in FMs and I don't know why.

Buchwalter- It was my first time playing with you (I think) and I thought you did pretty well. Sorry you had to die so early, but I liked your tallies/tables! I found them very useful and thought they were a good way to contribute and stay active. If not for the soma fiasco, you probably could have coasted by on those tallies for much longer without being lynched. And you managed to convince the mayor to give you soma, which in itself is pretty cool.

Slaol- You have no idea how hard my palm hit my face after reading your journalist article. I knew you were screwed... It would have been better if you could have coordinated it with us in the night chat, though. I wish hosts had just delayed the article until the next day and posted it with the next day's starting post and just noted that it was yesterday's article.

Damus- It was interesting playing with you as scum. I just wish you'd been a bit more active in the night chats. You had such a strong day presence, but it vanished at night. Also you got modkilled, which makes me sad.

    To savages:
Congrats on the win. I find it hilarious that you called me out as mafia in your death note one day, then later kill me because you think i'm a vigilante... Even though no vigilante shots have occurred. You gave us a lot of trouble because since the clubber kept missing you and the town didn't ever lynch you, we had to kill you ourselves, which was a bit of a pain. We almost pulled it off... Damn modkill.

    Corrupt journalists:

Becket- Sorry about your death and stuff. I told them not to kill you! I told them you weren't a threat! No one listened.

Earle- You used some interesting WIFOM there at the end claiming corrupt. It was a solid plan until you got lynched.

    Arsonist:

Yayap. I knew it was you from day 1. Your poison claim was a good idea, as it immediately alerted us to pay attention to you. I figured you were probably the neutral evil, but knowing how you like to gambit a I thought it might be a town ploy, either by a veteran to get a kill off on a DD who tried to fake soma you, or by another town hoping the mafia would out themselves in a fake soma. I wish you had lived longer, because eventually we probably would have trusted you and coordinated with you which would have been really fun. It was good to finally play a game with you, even though you didn't end up surviving very long.

All in all it was a good game and I look forward to the next one. Thanks for playing, everyone.

Quick hammer cut my time down by like 3 hours that I was planning on having to write it. I basically just checked the night actions I had submitted and sent it to Clem. lol. Town should totally quick hammer more the next time I am scum >.>
That will totally work out the exact same.

I don't understand why he didn't just tell you that you had no other masons. Oh no, a mason that knows it's alone! Sooooo game-breaking!!! It's not like all other night chats know the identities of all their members or anything...

Not that I ever even tried to log in to it since that night until just now. Don't worry though, FM Black is safe (I tried just now).

Oh well. I'd just like everyone (including the hosts) to know that the fact that I was a forever alone Mason had nothing to do with why I asked to be replaced. This FM started around the time that school was REALLY starting to heat up into all the end-of-the-year activities, including band competitions, orchestra competitions, other orchestra concerts, 6 different AP tests, end-of-the-year projects, and then finals... I looked at my schedule and realized that if I tried to add playing an FM on top of all that stuff, I would end up lurking to all hell (Like I always do, I guess). Given that, I decided that the game would be more fun for everyone involved if I just got replaced instead.

Apology accepted! I felt quite bad that you/the mafia was having such a hard time with the role. However, Lawful-Neutral-hat-Switzerland had a hard time even considering the changes that you suggested since the game had already started. Re: Epilogue

damn i want that teal color ;)
    but thanks for the award.

i have to write some thoughts:

    blackmailer:
i already wrote about it in dead chat but i rethought it a little after imput from other ppl

    it definitely needs fixes.
there is one aspect that is definitely overpowered: control mayor. mayor should have immunity to all blackmails, so that nothing happens to him if he claims blackmailed or doesn't fulfill the task. like evil neutrals and savage gf
then it's underpowered because of the loopholes. premade blackmails would be fine
the 2 day limitation makes it bad too, it should be removed and instead a you can only blackmail every second day should be added (or just every day)
also there should be a way to make ppl fulfill their task not last minute. because that would make control votes totally useless. maybe allow it to force first half of day

though it would have been week if town was smart enough to use all these huge drawbacks, in this game it was definitely pretty strong because of the suicides that happened because of failing townies.

    about mistakes:
i don't blame you for the mistakes, that always happens but you could have handled them better imo. for example the non standard feedback. you could've just include the non standard feedback in the setup thread and thus make it standard. instead you caused inconsisties because ppl could quote feedback but not from n1.
also the interview. you could've posted it mid day. posting it end day gave us no chance to react to it. hell me might even have lynched the kidnapper that day instead of the cit.

also how come you send my role to cohen d1? i think he might have reacted to the pressure a little different if he didn't knew i was really invest. though it would probably not have saved him either

    about the end:
i think it's strange that galloway couldn't kill rose in the night he died. it's not in the OoO that modkills are before kills. noone should win (or all lol)

    about modkills:
really sux this skype thing. i kind of lost trust in players, i knew hosts cannot force ppl to do no outside game discussion and also they cannot even see it most cases but i though people would be so fair to not do it. naive me...
    leary suicide just sucked...

also the mafia team consisted pretty much of 'fm vets'. slaol, damus, cmg, gerik who was scum mvp last game (and who's always scum lol)
deantwo was new and i don't know burnt eskimo

Pre-game, Yayap created a skype chat called "Yayap and FM 18 Hosts" in which he planned to tell us all about his strategies, etc as the game progressed. However Rocshi accidentally mistook it for our private "FM 18 Hosts chat." When he told me that you were mad that the hosts "messed up" and didn't give you your investigative results on the night you were feedback blocked, he accidentally posted it in the chat with Yayap in it. I really do apologize for the error as that should not have happened.

I kind of lost trust in players, too. Hopefully this is a learning experience for everyone so that in the future this kind of thing does not happen again.

Yeah it was strange how they all ended up on the same team, but that's just how it was random'ed. I might not have believed it myself, if I wasn't the person who did the randoming.

That imbalance really changed things. If I have one or two of those, it might have been different, even as cits. I was beginning to think that the host deliberately picked the teams.

Also, I had no clue Damus was Galloway. Yet, he warned me that I was vulnerable to being manipulated by using logic. I never really saw that as possible. If Galloway hadn't been modkilled, I'd be voting him MVP.

Wow! I do not know how to react to this. I had great fun making the tallies and tables, I guess it partly comes from my work on the Wiki and my wanting to help people.
Sadly I feel like I helped town more than I did my own team. All the ideas I came with during the nights were mostly useless or not well thought out.
As for the whole Soma fiasco. It was mostly my fault for not doing the math, I should have known it would come back to bite me. The only reason I passed the Soma onto the Godfather, was because I thought that he would be the least likely to die and thereby lose it before we passed it onto another member, or as my teammates said, at least wait longer before using it.

Clem said there were certain things I couldn't say (like mentioning my account names from previous FMs and stuff) so I just tried to play into my meta during the night. It seemed to work, since CmG was able to correctly guess my COM in dead chat.

It is ok, I do not know you either, and I do not think anyone was even close to guessing who I was.

I think maybe CmG was hinting in the right direction when he said I was part of forum staff, but I tossed him off my trail by saying that I was not part of staff unless it had happened with in the last 4 months (which it had).

I did have a lot of fun in this FM. It was my first FM so I'm still green behind the ears, but I do not feel like I made any slips apart from the whole Soma fiasco.

    Re: Epilogue

Yeah no. they are absolutely right to end the game the way it was and modkill me. And honestly I expected it to happen much sooner. I'm not gonna make excuses about the whole thing because thats a waste of time. There are only a few things to really say about it in total anyways. I'm gonna make a request however:

Please stop private messaging me once you die knowing that I am alive in the game please. There were indeed several people who immediately messaged me when they were about to be lynched or when they got killed at night. I'm not gonna post the skype logs here to "prove" anything because I am guilty of this and deserved the modkill. Additionally its insanely difficult to ignore everything that goes on in the chats I am in and when everyone decides to discuss what should happen in the FM, and yes I was apart and viewing this discussion, things get very hectic.

Edit: Rereadin that now sounds like this is an excuse.
Not an excuse, im not trying to make my actions sound justified or whatnot. I was wrong and thats that. This is just for future reference.

Edit2: When you look at the Exhibit thread which shows I am guilty of the outside game discussion there is a segment that is red which is trying to suggest I am talking about this game. That is not true. It was Fragos' game we were discussing at that time. However the rest of it was this game I believe.

Now that this is out of the way I wanna say congrats to the savage team. TBH they were the team that should have won from the very beginning. While Mafia were stacked COM wise the savages had the role list and the mechanics working for them all game. This game turned out really fun and despite me stealing their victory away twice they pulled it out and I'm glad to see a cult win during my FM career.

Good point, but I think at the time my reason for including it was that it was one of your few posts. The post was rather long and seemed to have some importantness to it.

To be fair, I did not do much more then post the tallies during the day. Reading peoples is not part of my skill set I quickly found out, so for the most part I was at a lose for what to say with-out using knowledge from being part of the Mafia.
