I don't understand the Stump.

I know that a Stump is basically a weakened citizen that can't vote, vest, or win ties over mafia. But there are many things I don't get:

- Can a Stump die?
- How does one become a Stump (without starting out as one)?
- What category does a Stump fall into?
- How often can this role appear?
- Does this role even have any options?
- Does this role allow scum to hide within?
- Can this role become a mason/cultist?

- Can a Stump die?
Yes. A stump has no immunities, so it can die by any normal method in the game, whether it be being killed by mafia/neutral killer, or being lynched.
- How does one become a Stump (without starting out as one)?
Currently, the only way to become a Stump is to be changed into one by a moderator.
- What category does a Stump fall into?
The Stump is currently listed as a Town role. Since it can only be obtained by being changed into one by a moderator, it does not fall under any specific categories such as Power or Core.
- How often can this role appear?
As often as a moderator in game chooses. There is no programmed limit on how many times they can stumpify people. (There will, of course, be repercussions if they are abusing this power.)
- Does this role even have any options?
No.
- Does this role allow scum to hide within?
Roles that were originally scum can be changed into a Stump, but once they are Stump, they are effectively a town role, and will win or lose with the Town, regardless of previous role.
- Can this role become a mason/cultist?
A Stump can be culted, but not recruited in the Masons.

Ever since patch 2.0.4 maf has pretty much died in EU. Games still start in less than 2 mins on NA server though. EU people can just move over XP
