    How to build a Cult save?

    What are your steps for building one. I have never actually used one on SC2, too many rage quits when I have tried.

    Let me know what you think of mine and what you do differently.

    Spoiler : My current setup :
    Cultist - 2 nights, invulnerability prevents (I don't think Cult should ever have less than 2 nights
    Cultist

    Witch - can not cause self targets, victim is not alerted


    Executioner - Target is Town (for now), must Survive, Invulnerable
    Jester - Kill: On


    Mason Leader - Infinite tries
    Mason - does not replace leader
    Mayor - 2 votes, keeps votes in Cult
    Bodyguard - prevent conversion (i only have Bg because it isn't something a Doctor can cure lol)
    Bus Driver - can swap self
    Coroner - detect Targets
    Citizen
    Citizen
    Citizen
    Citizen


    Maximum Masons = 6
    Executioner can't join Cult directly, but his alignment changes if his target is converted
    Maximum Cultists = 5 at a single time, 8 total
    6 + 1 + 8 = 15

    I like Bg, and BD because you have to really coordinate things to properly save the town, but the majority of the game will be won or lost by the Masons and the voting block. The same with Witch, as Witch is already aligned with Cult, so they will want to help the Cult without ever being recruited

    This is what I would have.




    Cultist - 2 night between conversion, can't recruit immune
    Cultist
    Executioner - Town Target, must Survive, Invulnerable
    Executioner - If becoming a jester, kills a random voter.

    Mason Leader - Infinite tries, max 3 masons
    Mason - does not replace leader
    Mayor - 3 votes & keep votes in Cult
    Bodyguard - prevent conversion
    Bus Driver - can swap self
    Vigilante - Two bullets
    Citizen - Has a bulletproof vest
    Citizen
    Sheriff - Can't detect cult
    Sheriff
    Sheriff



    Point of the sheriff is that they are a citizen without vest, and can't be picked by the Mason Leader.

    I thought of a good theme with a ML vs. Cult save. The next time you try it, think of the popular kids in highschool vs. Bronies (as in My Little Pony). The bronies are the cultists who spread MLP culture in a cult-like fashion, and the popular kids who are the town roles try to stop them.

    Options :
    1 night between cultist conversions
    Sheriff can't detect cultists
    Mason Leader are limited with 2 recruits
    Jester kills a random guilty voter.
    Mason cannot be promoted to leader.


    The point of this :
    Mason Leader kills the cultists and recruits possible citizen. (Who may be cultified)
    Mason are there as immune to cultists and able to tell who it is.
    Sheriff will stay as an unrecruitable citizen.
    Jester is there to fake being the ML / cultist / Citizen, wasting time for the town.
    Cultists can only have one night to recruit, not getting overcrowded too quick.


    Edit : If town too OP, replace a sheriff with a witch.

    This is my cult/mason save:
    Godfather

    Options:
    Town
    Citizen: all checked
    Sherif: all checked
    Investigator: exact role=off
    Det: checked
    lookout: all checked
    doc: knows if target attacked, prevents cult convert, doesnt know if target converted
    escort: cannot be roleblocked, doesn't detect block immune targets
    jailor: 2 exe
    vigi: 2 kills
    mason + ML: becomes ML if alone, excluded from random, 4 recruits
    spy: exclude from random=OFF, all other are checked
    BD: can target self.
    Coroner: all checked
    bg: all checked
    vet: excluded from random=off, limited to 3 nights, ignores inv
    mayor: loses extra votes in cult=off, vote counts for 3, cannot be healed=true

    Mafia
    consig: replaces gf=off, detect exact + becomes mafioso=on
    gf: cannot be rb=off, rest is on
    disg: cleans target=on, becomes mafioso
    consort: all on
    framer: mafioso=on, immune to detect: off
    janitor: mafioso=on, 3 cleanings
    BM: mafioso:on, victim can talk:off

    Neutral
    sk: inv at night, kills rb, wins ties=off
    arso: all on besides victim knows doused
    mm: all on, but 1 night between sprees
    witch: self target=on, victim knows=off
    surv: 3 buletproof
    jester: random guilty dies
    exe: only becomes jester + inv at night
    cult: only 1 night between conv is on.
    amne: all off.

    Random
    Any random: only neut roles
    all the rest of randoms = not checked.


    ppl seem to like this save
    have fun


    Upon drop, remove town random, then any random

    Seems OP for town, they just dont lynch anyone and the ML just bludgens down the list.
