Correct, but that 2nd RB by Disruptive Thing could have been cast onto someone who won't claim it. E.g., a 2nd shadow that didnt care to use N1 ability like Fanatic not caring to protect yet, Shaman not wanting to tie up their teammate yet - that 2nd shadow role might be simply chilling and getting its upgrade to LVL 2 from the Darkness, which might also explain why there was no N1 kill by the Darkness. Or could be AFK/Templar that won't claim the 2nd RB.

The part about Darkness choosing to up its teammate is not overcomplicated.
If shadow rolled Fanatic, would they prefer to protect their teammate N1 or to level up and be able to kill (couple nights later)? If shadow rolled a Shaman, would they want to pick 1 shadow and 1 village, both of whom will die if the other is lynched/killed?

Admittedly it does seem unlikely that any of those last 4 were the ones that were leveled up. But Magus could easily have chosen Ozy, or a shadow, the darkness, or templar

The interesting thing about this scenario, as earlier discussions already proved, is that under the presumption of Yues+Blink S+S, Blink would be the more likely target for Village to lynch (and not Yues). Reason is that under Yues --> Blink movement, it would be thought that Yues is Darkness and Blink is a supporting Shadow getting leveled up. Since a dead Darkness creates a new Darkness+OldShadowAbility (i.e., buffed/hybrid Darkness), village would prefer to lynch the upped Shadow and leave vanilla Darkness be.

Darkness: "If you die, another Shadow member will become the new Darkness (decided by RNG) AND will keep their previous power. "
