Lover
You are a star-crossed lover in hopes that you and your special someone survives through the mayhem.

Alignment:
Neutral/Adv

Goal:
For you and your lover to survive.

Abilities:
You may protect your lover for one night.
If your lover dies, then you commit suicide.
You may talk with your lover at night.

Options:
You may protect your lover for 1/2/3 nights.

Win Conditions:
You win with everyone

Investigative Role:
You target seems to be very observant.

Death Message when suicide from lover's death:
He/She shot himself after finding out his/her special someone had died.

Message to the attacker
You target survived the attacked, your target is immune to attacks tonight.

Role Notes:
There must be two lovers in the game. No more, no less. If there is only one, the role is powerless. 2 is the maximum.

I think it would be better if the lover worked like exe- their target isnt a lover as well.

There could be options for lover target excludes mafia, lover target excludes neutral, etc.



If they are both neut then they would basically function like 2 survivors. Would be really lame. That could often take up all the random neuts in the game, too. As long as they don't vote, there would be no reason to kill them either and they should win all the time.

Survivor could be faked in order for an evil to survive whereas lover can't really be faked since you gotta have someone else vouch.

What's wrong with that? Better to take an idea that is already working and maybe tweak it a bit than to reinvent the wheel.
