Note: The Infestor and the Genetic Engineer are the same roles but with different descriptions and background stories. Initially this role was called Infestor but since this might not suit the Mafia-theme so well I created the
Genetic Engineer which is basically the same but might fit in better. Although I prefer the Infestor, this is something for DR to decide if he would eventually implement this role.
Role name: Infestor
Description: A devious being who've infested a helpless human and from within it execute its only primal instinct: To have its offspring come to life and to let the evolution continue.
Alignment: Neutral / Advanced
Abilities: At one point, and one point only, he can plant an egg inside another player. It takes a set amount of days for the egg to hatch.
Win Condition: Live to see your offspring come to life! Both the Infestor and its victim has to survive until the egg hatches. If the victim dies before the egg has hatched the Infestor leaves its host and the player is turned into a Survivor with no bulletproof vests.
Host Options: The amount of days it takes for the egg to hatch. 3, 4, 5 or 6 days. Higher amount of points the longer it takes to hatch.
Pros: Can act town-aligned, like a sheriff or investigator who claims his victim not suspicious.
Cons: Easily detectable, hard to win with.
Overall effect on the metagame if implemented: Can turn the tides if you select your victim with care, but don't wait too long or the game will be over before the egg has hatched.
Additional comments: Both you and your victim shows up as Infested to an investigator/consigliere, so the other players can never be sure who's a host and who's the real Infestor. This will also hide the victims real role to the investigator/consigliere. Your target retains all abilities and functions as normal until the egg hatches except if checked by investigator/consigliere. The Infestor only has to visit his target once and cannot change target after the egg has been planted. If the victim is targeted by a Doctor while the egg has yet not hatched, the Doctor will remove the egg. If so, the Infestor will be alerted and gains the ability to plant a new egg.

Description: A lunatic scientist crazed with the ideas of creating the perfect being by introducing foreign DNA into helpless victims.
Alignment: Neutral / Advanced
Abilities: At one point, and one point only, he drugs a target at night, performing a horrible experiment on him or her. It takes a while for the foreign DNA to spread until the victim is completely corrupted.
Win Condition: Live to see your creation spring to life! Both the Genetic Engineer and his victim has to survive until the victim has been corrupted by the DNA. If the victim dies before the experiment has finished the Genetic Engineer abandons all hope and turns into a Survivor with no bulletproof vests.
