Anyway, how can you deny this shit is awesome? This is footage taken from a Rammstein concert I went to once - someone else's footage. This guy is just pure awesome, he's a total beast and imagine if he went back in time to the time of the Third Reich? They'd fucking be partying that shit up all the time!

Plus, check out the fucking flames. This song is called "Feuer Frei", and it's German for "Fire Freely", from what I've read.

Most people I know who listen to Rammstein look up these wonderful things called "translations."
Apparently, when people from other countries speak bullshit to you, it actually means something and you can use the internet to find out what.
Or you could just learn German. I recommend that - when you actually understand the lyrics past just a definition translation it gives the music a whole new level of meaning.

And that's not even what I'm talking about. Look up the translation to Spring & tell me you can get the same meaning out of a textbook.
& it doesn't have to be grammatically complex for the meaning to be complex. That's the beauty of German - it can be stylistically and grammatically very simple with a very complex meaning. Unlike most English poetry which is all up front about everything and boring as hell. If there are any metaphors/similes they're too shallow to be of any interest.

What the hell are you saying? There are specific sets of rules that define what metal music is. I can't tell you what they are because I don't give a shit about the mechanics of music, but they are fairly well-defined. It's like a word. You can't just change the definition of a word because you feel like it, or use a word in a completely different context. That would break apart the entire point of language.

Also, I don't think you understand the concept of Schrodinger's Cat. The point of the thought experiment was to prove the absurdity of the uncertainty principle of quantum mechanics by applying it to real objects. According to said principle, the cat would be alive and dead at the same time, when it obviously isn't, as we only observe it as being in one of the states. The conclusion is that everything can only be in one state at a time, and making claims that something can be in two states at once is illogical.

The burden of proof is on you to prove that Rammstein is metal. One can make many unfalsifiable claims, none of which can be proven or disproven. Doesn't mean they're all factual. That, and I don't give a shit about the technical aspects of music, as I said before. Rammstein simply doesn't sound like metal, and the majority agree with me.
