This is my setup for Mason Leader/Cult/Mafia that people seem to like and I also find balanced between all sides.

Mason Leader limited to 3.
Mason replaces Mason Leader.
Godfather is immune to detection and can kill without a Mafioso.
Investigator does not detect exact roles.
Citizens do not have 1 bullet-proof vest.
Arsonist ignores Doctor's healing and passive immunities. Victim does not know that they're doused. Arson is Immune at night.
SK is Immune at night.
Janitor is limited to 3 cleanings.
Coronor All options checked.
Random towns CANNOT be Citizens.
Cultists 1 night between recruiting
Cultists can recruit Invulnerable roles at night.
Doctor prevents culting.
The metagame:
Town has only one investigator, and two randoms. Neither of the randoms are 100% investigative roles, giving mafia room to bluff. Town's real strength is its masons, which include the ML and the ability to add 3 more. With 4 masons, the Masons can outvote anyone and win it for town. It is a mason leader game after all, thats what this game should be about. Not only that, they can find out who non-masons are with their night recruits so they can find mafia/Cult that way. When the ML tries to recruit a cult he is instead killed. Two random towns provide outs for mafia but can also be a bonus to town(obviously.) the Invest provides an out for Consig.
The Mafia also have a strong setup; consisting of The Godfather who can claim as cit if needed and the consig who can find the masons/invest/Cult. The Consig also becomes GF when GF dies, allowing him to hide among cits also. MASONS SHOULD BE TOP PRIORITY FOR MAFIA/CULT.
The cult start with two cultists. Some may cry OP but its really not.. The cultists are against everyone, including the ML who can bludgeon their heads in faster than they can recruit new members. Also they cannot recruit the three mafia and anyone the doctor heals. They should lay low and attempt to the the ML lynched early, because if they don't the ML will overpower the cultists and win the game for town.
Neutrals, lastly, really throw the game in the air. A confirmed Arsonist allows the game to go either way, and is unkillable at night/undetectable. Mafia can find him by hitting him and noticing the immune at night.. If they want to lynch him, they risk giving themelves away also so the Arson actually has a chance. The random Neut also mixes the game up by being any neutral, including SK. Gives the Arson another out too.
