Get the role serial killer, confess role d1 and offer to side with town by not killing unless told by someone who proved innocent. I am wondering this because i don't think it is gamethrowing if you are the serial killer because you have no allies to ruin game for.
Also, it helps town people get more points.

I see your point of view and understand where you are coming from. Here is another point of view, by not playing your role, you affect other teams and roles such as Mafia, Cult or even Witch. Like Menautor said, it is in a way. Since you won't necessarily be killing townies and fulfilling your roles objectives and goals for victory, hence gamethrowing. (Playing against your winning objective)

If its your legitimate strategy to try and win the game (your victory conditions) it seems fine to me. Pretending or actually allying with town are both options you or anyone can choose.

I don't think anyone would report you for this, as long as you're not trolling / helping friends farm points or anything. If you think you can win at SK like this, by all means go for it. Sometimes it is my legit strategy. I did it once before, told mayor i was sk and to lynch mafia, and ended up winning through trickery.

If you want to be SK and say your role d1 and kill for the town, do it. Sometimes, you can win that way. And most of the time, you'll be lynched immediately.

A quick list to see it is correct:

Survivor - No one cares about survivors, jailors execute you for fun, town lynches on sight and the mafia will shoot you after you help them vote the last townie off.

Jester - yeah right

Witch - if you find the mafia or SK and then get lynched by them, feel free to expose them for revenge

Amnesiac - as long as you haven't picked a role you are all on your own

Cult - this is actually a team so you can ruin for other people by intentionally losing

I think that means that the Jester didn't role out of rand nuet. Something else did.

It guarantees automatically there roles, and randoms are just more likely but not guaranteed

Not at all.

First off, do make sure that you have 20,000 in game mafia points before attempting this or it will not work.

You can prefer any 5 roles you want. Now if there and random town, random mafia, or random neutrals, you can still get your role through them as along as the role spawns.

Take my save for example:

Godfather
Random Mafia
Random Mafia
Sheriff
Investigator
Doctor
jailor
Citizen
Random Town
Random Town
Random Town
Random Town
Random Neutral
Random Neutral
Random Neutral

(I love my randoms)

Now if you prefer jester on this save, it is possible to get it as long as AT LEAST ONE of the random nuetrals spawn a Jester. If those 3 neutrals become an SK, Executioner, and Cult...then you cannot obtain Jester. So you are relying on a bit of luck when trying to prefer undefined roles.
