"Role Claim" and "Personal Notes'' Tab

    "Role Claim" Box

Role claiming is a popular and efficient strategy for the Town to use late game when trying to determine the final hostile player.

    Details
-An optional feature that the host can enable during the game setup (just like PMs).
-If enabled, the "Role Claim" box will remain hidden until a player publicly role claims using this feature.
-A player can use this feature by typing "-role claim" and selecting from the list of available role and can be updated at any time. [To be determined]
-When a player role claims by using this feature, an additional pop up box will appear next to the graveyard with the claim of each player who used this, with the same structure type as the graveyard "Name (Role)"

    "Personal Notes" Tab

A tab, personal to each individual player, that they can use to type whatever they want. There is no specific way for one to use this feature; just a simple way to keep some notes. May be useful for some roles such as Bus Driver, Witch or Arsonist to keep track of the history of targetted people and such...

    Details
-The tab can be minimized/maximized at the top of the screen, next to the "Help" and "Menu" tab and can be updated at any time (Kind of like a txt document). [To be determined]

Also, this opens room for some interesting new roles that may use/manipulate this feature. For example, if this is implemented, I thought about Coroner having the ability to have access to a dead target's Personal Notes (it would make the role a tad bit more popular :P) Anyways let me know what you think and I appoligize if you think this is absurd .

I disagree with these ideas not because they are terrible, but mainly because it sounds like it's just dumbing down the game. If someone forgets what role a player claimed it should be their responsibility, and if a player slips up and doesn't claim the same role again it should be their responsibility. The personal notes might be ok, but I still think it's unnecessary and risks dumbing down certain aspects of the game similarly.

Your ideas aren't "bad", but I just think they hurt the quality of the game more than they help.

edit: As Mcpwnage said. The log is enough.

I like these ideas a lot, the default SC2 log is difficult to go through quickly, and this makes things easier for everyone. It basically works very similar to the "Lie Detector" program which is currently stickied in the Mafia General forum. I don't think it dumbs anything down, but it removes the random chance that someone will forget what you claimed earlier, which could give someone a clutch win in a situation where they wouldn't otherwise get one. Which is why I like it as an option for the host to pick. I would use it!

Of course this isnt needed at all, but I think it would be a nice bonus feature. You could also argue that the Graveyard is also in no way needed, instead you can rely on your memory or use home writen notes :P. Anyways, I think its a nice feature but probably not worth the effort to implement it in the game as the Log essentially does this.
