I'm guessing we're supposed to be excited at the "unexpectedness" of it so much that the actual one isn't going to be "unexpected" enough.....

I'm trying to think of a way to balance revealing information whilst keeping enough in the dark for there to be some surprises.

About all I can do before the game starts is post role cards, the anti-lurk measures and some light pre-game RP. They're just being finalised and proofed.

No special mechanics? You don't have to say too much if the mechanics arn't meant to be revealed before game start, just a bit of information on what makes this FM "Different then previous FM's"

This game will be slightly different to what people may be used to. Details won't be mentioned, but I have pulled out all the stops to make this a highly enjoyable game for everyone concerned. The goal is not to just provide you all with 'the next FM on the list', it's to try and rekindle the excitement and enthusiasm we all had when we waited for our first game. That moment when, for a week, every time you saw 'Notifications (1)' your heart would skip a beat.

Theme gets my seal of approval. Wasn't what I was hoping for, but still awesome nonetheless, and probably better in most people's opinions.

The anticipation is killing me, and I don't even know if I'm in the game yet! Even if I'm not, it'll be fun to watch.
