Thats a false statement, your information is safe in game, although blizzard has had so many reports they are looking into it before they release the information that it is safe. This happens all the time, people even VISITING a diablo 3 bot website will in turn POSSIBLY be keylogged, and accounts get compromised for the keyloggers gain.
