Role name: Mad Scientist
Description: You are a mad scientist looking to test out your deadly concoctions.
Alignment: Neutral (Benign/Advanced)
Abilities:
- Inject chemicals into one person each night causing them to die a day later.
Goal:
- Kill three players by injection.
Win condition:
- You do not care who wins so long as you kill three players by injection.
Options:
- Victim knows they have been injected with chemicals. [Default: OFF]
- Doctors can heal injected players. [Default: OFF]
- Inject role-blockers [Default: ON] (Message: If you are role-blocked, you will inject the role-blocker instead.)
- Ignores immunity [Default: ON] (Message: Ignores any immunity the player may have on the day of death.)
Death message:
- The victim's body was found to be in a disgruntled position. He/She appears to have been poisoned.
Achievements:
- There is No Cure: Kill a doctor that knows they have been injected. (Must have the 'victim knows they have been injected with chemicals' option turned ON)
I thought this would be an interesting role. It would be similar to Arsonist but not quite. If you turn on the option for players to know they have been injected, a lot of chatting will ensue. Doctors will have to choose whether or not to save them or leave them to die which can cause a lot of disruption among each other. If a day before getting killed by poison seems too little, I think two would be a well-rounded number.
