I just played the worst mafia game ever with a bunch of pubbies. I can't even bring myself to describe how awful it was.

Play-by-play:

Day 1(For jailor)
Me and Fred(the only non-pubby) discuss donor powers.
Night 1
1) I(Pop) spawn as consig and die to SK
Day 2
2) The mayor reveals day 2 and literally random lynches the only other smart person(Fred) in the game (WHO WAS A SPY--spy is an unlynchable role...)
Day 3
3) Orange comes out as invest, then accuses the KNOWN MAYOR OF BEING MAFIA.
4) Town proceeds to TRIAL THE KNOWN MAYOR.
5) MAFIA VOTE INNO ON THE MAYOR and he BARELY survives the lynch by 1 VOTE.
6) Mayor trials the invest that accused him and then votes inno...
7) Mayor random lynches the SK instead.
Day 4
Mayor random lynches a jester--proving that OJ ISNT A JESTER
Day 5
9)The framer leaves the game
10) Mayor keeps random lynching in all caps but luckily gets the GF.
Night 5
11) Arsonist chooses to burn 1 person. The stupid ass mayor....
Day 6
12) Town random lynches a doctor
Note: THEY STILL HAVENT KILLED OJ FOR BEING A FUCKING DUMASS
Day 7
13) They finally lynch the Arsonist.

Town WINS!

God damn it. I was the most pissed off dead person ever. Fuck pubes. HOW THE FUCK DID TOWN WIN THAT????

I just had one that was horrible. 3 Town and 3 Mafia remaining; Town was Escort (me), Doctor, and Jailor. The Mafia was Godfather (CAN be RBed) and 2 non-killing Mafia.

I had found the Godfather through both process of elimination (I had blocked everyone before then except him with Mafia kills each night) and blocking him the previous night and having no deaths. I tell town that we can win as long as we don't lynch anyone in the day because I've found and am currently RBing the Godfather (no night deaths) and that the Jailor can kill him that night. I expressly told town many times NOT TO LYNCH as the only way we would get a majority on anyone is voting with the Mafia.

Right after this one of the Mafia members claims he's Sheriff and says I'm Mafia so naturally all 3 of them try to lynch me as it's their last hope at winning. I tell town that there's their 3 Mafia and not to vote. Lo and behold, the fucking Doctor hammers me and puts me on the stand.

At this point we already lost since they have 3 Guilty votes against our 2 Innocent.

It honestly boggles my mind how people can be so mind numbingly bad at logical thinking. Sheriff wasn't even a possible role due to the Jailor accounting for the last Random Town.

Of course at the end the Doctor says "Meh, it's just a custom game. Big deal." The big deal isn't that we lost, the big deal is that it was a completely unloseable situation for Town but people can't stop for a second to think properly.

Few days ago I had a nightmarish game like this one. This was FINALLY my chance to get the Mason Leader achievement (only one missing with coroner) !
Long story short, after a few hectic and retarded days, there are only 2 towns and 1 SK., which is a MIRACLE at this point.
They start to claim roles and, noob SK claims Mason, which made us (dead people) all laugh our asses off since it was totally impossible (on top of that I, mason leader, explicitly said their was no mason in my last will just a few days ago). Achievement here I come !!
Then, out of nowhere one of the townie is like "OMG I TOTALLY BELIEVE YOU, THAT MAKES PERFECT SENSE" and lynch the other townie which was the frigging doctor, which healed him during the last night !
Town lost, and I stared at the screen silently.

Pubs are terrible, naturally. But I think most of the time, it's so hard for Mafia to win anyways. Especially because of the neutral roles (mainly Serial Killer/Arsonist).

My bad game involved 4 town (Sherrif, Investigator, Jailor, Spy -- that's right, no doc), 3 mafias, 3 neutrals. Guess who won? Not the town. Mafia won because they managed to out vote and execute the SK. Usually, this doesnt happen.

From my experience, it would be more fun to have less neutrals and 4 mafias. Godfather, Mafioso, and 2 others. It's not fun when you get Godfather, Blackmailer, and Framer, and the Framer is forced to become a Mafioso. Plus, more Mafia would force the town to think smarter. Usually the town just wins because SK manages to knock off a Mafia member, and then it goes downhill for the bad guys or another similar story. Town lynches SK, and wins.

Needless you can say the game ended very fast. Watchers are completely broken, you can't even lie your ass off against watchers.

Funnily, I had a very similar game to the one I described and finally got my "all roles" achievement (forgot I had coroner)
I was a dead mason leader and the town won... solely thanks to the survivor which sided with us !

I think I was in that game, I remebmer having a game where watcher found two mafia night one like that and sheriff nailed the other. In that game I felt that the watcher was extremely OP but when it comes down to it, it can fuck you over. I played a pubbie game and used a colored name. Naturally I have a gaint fucking target on my head. I'm targeted by 4 people plus a watcher. Watcher reveals that these 4 people were in my house when I died to SK and no one did shit all about it. So in those cases it has nothing as a purpose. As a small addition to this thread, the game where 4 people targeted me a doc was killed night 2 by jailor for claiming doc and the jailor thought he was SK. This person didn't target me on the night I died and it was obvious that he wasn't SK. The town went on to lose out of pure stupidity (I don't remember all the specifics but it was pretty bad.....).

I just had the worst mafia game ever. The lag was so bad, something you type didnt show up for 13 MINUTES. However, because of this, I saw the Executioner Splash.... around the time I start the 2nd roulette game it starts lagging SOOOOOOOOOO bad.

Ugh, i just got a terrible game. The sheriff dies the first night, and the first full day the invest outs the consort. How he knew it was consort and not escort was probably a lucky guess.. I was the mason and on the 2nd full day my mason partner calls out invest and tries to random lynch a player because he doesn't like said player.

On the third day another player calls invest, a role he can't be because both random town are masons, and the town stupidly follows along lynching a bodyguard. The next day, enraged, the town lynches the executioner so he can't vote against them. Turns out he was doctor masquerading as executioner to avoid mafia hits. He got bodyguard and doc lynched.

Right before the lynching the invest accuses me, a known mason, of being mafia. He gets lynched the next day because I hope he's traitorous gf, and we might be able to figure out who the arson is next day. Turns out he really was invest and after the game said his "goal" was to help the arson win. On the final night it's me + mafia + arson. The arson did win that night.

For those who don't want to watch the game goes like this. At the end there is 3 town and 1 arsonist. The sheriff, dark, finds the arson and now the town goes to lynch the arson

Aco, a town, refuses to lynch the arsonist for some stupid reason even though the arson admitted guilt.

Deathfire calls Aco out for acting like an idiot Aco to just lynch the Arson

Aco refuses to lynch the arson until Deathfire apologizes for calling Aco out on acting like an idiot. He drags the game on for another 6 minutes when the arson burns everyone.

I wish I could say i was surprized. He's such a scrub.

We once had a pube who couldn't read, and read the Janitor's ability as being a sort of anti-Framer, in that he cleared someone's name instead of framing them. He targeted the Godfather every night. We told him multiple times that he was an idiot and he kept thinking he was right.

Even the Godfather and I voted to lynch him. At his trial, he asked the entire game what the Janitor does. Naturally, every single player told him he was wrong. He still refused to believe us.

Sometimes I wonder how much incest it takes to produce that much stupidity.

Actually, janitoring the Godfather is not a bad idea. This way, many players might believe that the whole Mafia is still alive, even after the Godfather gets shot down by a Vigilante or murdered by Arsonist\SK.
That is, assuming Godfather isn't invulnerable at night.

In a game with 2 vigis, and 3 rnd mafia (cant kill first night):
N1 - No kills
D1 - Me, a doctor, gets lynched for being blocked by escort
N2 - 2 vigis randomshoot and kill 2 town, mafia gets blocked by escort
D2 - ???????
N3 - Vigi number one kills survivor, Vigi number 2 kills bodyguard while attacking the doc, dies himself, mafia attacks Arso who is immune
D3 - Arso is stupid enough to tell he survived the attack, gets lynched
N4 - Escort blocks vigi, mafia kills escort
D4 - Mafia lynches the last town and wins. THERE WAS NO WITCH.

Now tell me if you ever had a more rage-inducing game than this.

I just came out of 1 of my worst games I've ever played lol.

I was jester, got a person lynched and people were ready to lynch me the next day but suddenly switched to someone else. Shortly after the mafia waste a kill on me when they know I'm obviously a jester, as they lynch the first mafia member he calls out someone as his GF (i dont remember exactly) so the next day they lynch him. 2 people voted innocent on him so everyone decides to lynch both of them, but the next day the SERIAL KILLER calls out someone as GF (and naming himself the SK) so they lynch that person. Of course, that person was innocent.

The next day, everyone COMPLETELY IGNORES lynching the SK and lynches a doctor (because he voted innocent earlier. Also dunno why mafia didn't kill him since he said he was doctor the day before). It's down to like 4 people. mafia kills investigator, SK kills Consort so SK wins.

I wasn't raging or anything but both sides were pretty stupid, and I can't believe someone claiming SK got ignored lol.

yesterday i was gf,my friends were the other 2 mafia, and the dumbass mayor random lynched everyone but the mafia,it was hilarious. Mayor won the game for mafia, too bad we had to kill him off....
