Alright, so, I'm sure you're all aware the recruit on Tywin was not successful last night, which was completely my fault.

No, he wasn't immune.
No, I wasn't blocked.
No, I didn't forget.

I typed in the wrong name.

Excuse/story/how it really happened/don't read if you hate me now:

After I had typed in "-recruit Tywin" in night chat, at the last minute (practically an hour before day started), I said, hmm, maybe the GMs are really particular about having a hard copy, aka a PM, of the night actions. Well, I did just that. Except during the transfer phase, I somehow strayed off task, and ended up copying Robb's name.

tl;dr - I tried double recruiting a member we already had.

I avoided the jester all game only to have this happen to me. I literally freaked out when I received the PM two days ago, but I'm afraid no amount of excuses will ameliorate this disastrous mistake.

I apologize for this egregious error.

I mean, if we're going to recruit people who are "worthy" of winning with us, (though truth be told, if I get shot tonight, it's all over), I'd go with Cersei.

By the way, Meli, if I could nominate people for MVP, it would be you. I don't think Oberyn was fooled by what you said, but very impressive arguments you made.

Well if you get shot at all it's over for us lol that's why we need the armorsmith. Even if getting him tonight won't keep us in the running it's our best way of securing a win for the long term as long as the GFs keep miskilling.

No matter what, we have to get Oberyn lynched tomorrow. He's too wily for my liking. And the fact that he's not talking in day chat any more leaves me with no clues as to how he will act.

I can only pray. It's a game of Russian Roulette for me now. Will the gun tonight hold the bullet for my death?

Here's hoping that Oberyn actually does take out Sandor like he said he would do. Otherwise, we have a problem.

I'm also hoping that Lord Varys really is the Red Godfather and that his implication that Daenerys is Cult Leader may lead to him shooting her. That would be the best case scenario for us.

A little disappointed about that Tywin mis-recruit. I would not have tried to pull the gambit I did otherwise (and we likely could have gotten Sandor lynched).

I think we have to do damage control tonight. Joffrey is unlikely to be shot tonight because he's on the lookout for Cult. If he checks me, he'll call me out as Cultist tomorrow because Detective will not be in my possible role list. Therefore, I suggest we recruit Joffrey. In addition, a successful recruit on Joffrey will let us tell him through this night chat who he should give results for.

In fact, we could get him to give false results to accuse someone else (say, Ser Ilyn or Ser Loras) and say they came up Cult Leader. For example, we could get Joffrey to say that Ser Ilyn came up as "Your target appears to be of rather simple blood. It may be a Serf (Citizen), but it could also be Anya Nighthawk (Orange Godmother), Richard the Flayer (Red Godfather), Count Dracula (Cult Leader) or a foolish Fool (Jester)."

I would not recommend Ser Jorah, as he is either Armorsmith or Red Godfather. If the latter, our recruit is wasted and it leaves us down a member. Increasing out Cult to 5 is ideal right now, as there will be 13 players alive tomorrow, 8 of them un-culted (with 3 of those 8 as Mafia).

I'm fine with recruiting Joffrey though going for the armorsmith would be nice. Maybe they'll mess up and give Janos another one. I just hope they don't stop giving armor, or give them to the claimed GFs instead. That'd be depressing.

Lol, Meli. If it's one thing I admire about you, it's the fact that you're consistently calm and unwavering from your original goal. At this point in the game, it's night 7. If I live through tonight, it'll be day 8. I don't think I've ever played an FM that lasted quite this long before lol. It's really taxing on me. (Despite not posting but 2 or 3 times a day, I am actually checking this website once every hour to read updated posts lol. I just choose not to post frequently. Never do.)

Do I still want to win? Yes. I think at this point, masons, town, and mafia has derped enough not to deserve a win. I'm not saying my night actions were flawless lol. Far from it. But seriously. We've lost only one member since the start of the game, and most of us flew under scum radar. Even despite me lurking most of this game, hardly anyone accuses me of being scummy. But if winning this game has now reduced to freakin chance of whether the Mafia arbitrarily shoots me or not simply because I claimed serf... Well, you see my point.

Joffrey is a safe recruit, yes. He won't be shot tonight (unlikely anyway, unless the Mafia are THAT worried about being confirmed scum lulz, which most of us can tell how ridiculously scummy they are anyway). Also noting what someone said earlier, I will laugh so hard if the Red Mafia consists of the two people with cat avatars lol. Even Bronn had a lion, which is in a way cat-like. Rodrik though... Well, who knows.

My priorities this game is really to recruit safe people who won't be shot tonight. Armorsmith is useless. Because if I recruit tonight. He can't give me armor till night 8. And it'll be night 9 before I can use it lol. And seriously, if the game drags out till day 10, that's just ridiculous... Mafia will eventually out themselves.

Not recruiting Tywin hurt me a whole lot more than I could have comprehended. Especially since a lynch was lead against him. If I had recruited him and pushed for someone else's lynch (like Oberyn lol), I could very well have a trapper protecting me every night. And since town is unlikely to ever lynch me...

Anyway, whomever our recruit is tonight, I reiterate, we must lynch Oberyn tomorrow.

Lynching Oberyn is impossible until we have a majority and we win anyway. That's why I felt the armorsmith was a priority. Town won't lynch their invulnerable vigilante until you're dead.

The mafia isn't sure who the other mafia is shooting, so it's unlikely they'll try for me, Petyr, or Robb unless they want to decrease the Cult field a bit. However, that still leaves Dracula surviving for another night, so I don't see that happening (it's actually in both Godfather's best interests to shoot two known Cult members to reduce their numbers. Hopefully they won't do this).

It's statistically impossible for all the Cultists to die tonight. Even if we fail the recruit and Dracula is shot (one mafia bullet), two Cultists will survive and only one of them can be shot (other mafia's bullet).

I'm hoping we get really lucky and Sandor and Daenerys are shot. If not, contingency plan should be:

-Recruit Joffrey (and use his investigation results to clear me? Or will that be too obvious?)
-I'll follow Ser Jorah. We'll find out if he is indeed the Armoursmith.
-If Joffrey has been being given Armor each night (it's either him or Cersei with the armor), we'll get to use it the following night if Dracula is still alive.
-Lay low on your postings, particularly Janos and Robb. The more they forget about you two, the better.
-If I'm alive, I'll try and lead a lynch against Ser Ilyn with Joffrey.
-Oberyn will not be easy to lynch. The Town will back him (and I'll act Town to back him up) because they need him to find Dracula.

Town already suspects Joffrey of being cult. Having him clear you is trouble lol. Because really, a smart cult leader would have recruited an invest role a long time ago. I can't tell if I'm just dumb, or trying to WIFOM the crap out of this game lol.

Culting Joffrey and following Ser Jorah sounds good.

In all honesty, I'll maybe pop in here and there to say something during the day. But at this point, I'm not giving town any hints on how they need to behave. They're just a mob now (haha, punnyyyyy). In all honesty, half of this game has been theatrics for me. I literally raged on Day 5 about how dumb the town is to make people think I'm a harmless serf. It sounds as if they took the bait, but who knows. It's just a game of deceptive appearance now for me. You're my voice of reason, dear Meli.

If in the rare case that none of us dies and Joffrey is culted successfully, we will have 5 people in our cult. Voting power tomorrow will be 8. So we're 3 votes below where we need to be. (2 if I wasn't a retard). The point is, like I've said, winning this game is a complete crapshoot now.
