ANNOUNCEMENT - SC2 Mafia Wikipedia entry improved!!!

I've decided for once in my life to create a Wikipedia account, because I read the page for "Mafia (party game)" and it mentions DR's SC2 game. I felt it could be expanded a little to give more life to the description, and also give a true account as to what playing it is really like, and why it's so famous!

I'm not a Wikipedia terrorist, and didn't feel that my minor edit required citations, so I feel my contribution blends in well to the professionalism of the article.

This is one small step for Necroplant, but one giant leap for this troll game!!!

The game is known for internet "trolls", however, players whose goal is to ruin genuine game experiences for most players. Some notorious player trolls include Necroplant, ArchangelEZ, Ash, BurntEskimo, Plasma, SeruraRange, Admiral, Landstander and mommasasha. Dark Revenant has a community of moderators dedicated to keeping the game fair and clean for all players, and quite often are given reports on griefing, game-throwing, and cheating. This is one of the only Starcraft II custom games where kickvote-lists (or even bans) have been handed out. Players who violate the rules can be reported, and the mod community investigates violations diligently.

Small correction: "Moderators are chosen randomly"

It is NOT randomly. The first person who create the lobby will be ALWAYS host. He can pass host or even rejoin the game, he will still be the host. :P

The only exception is that he has never played Mafia before, so someone else will be host. ;)


Another: "This map has consistently ranked among the most-played custom maps for StarCraft II, rarely leaving the front page of most popular mods."

The map is now most time 2nd page and rarely getting 1st. It was caused during the time before patch 1.4.3 when people get dropped VERY often. So people played less mafia because games were not filled as many people as wished.
