I originally stumbled upon this when watching a guy jump from the CN tower in the 80's, only attached to a thin steel cable. Then I saw some footage from the top of the Burj Khalifa (tallest building in the world), where the top of the tower actually wobbles. The adhesive/welding must be PRO, as I would hate to fall to my death from that height.

One of my biggest fears is heights, and being thrown off a high cliff. You can sense the fear of that in this next video: a father volunteers to be cut loose from his support line so his kids can live, and he's basically volunteering to fall to his death from a stupendous height.



But you know, if they were advertising this position in my area, I'd apply for it. Better-paid and more exciting than fast food.
