I lynch him because its scummy to claim to sheriff a known mayor. He was a sheriff.

I remember one time I was playing as invest, found 2 of the mafia, and they wouldn't lynch. They thought I was exec, even when I called out the sheriff they wouldnt, and they ended up lynching me...

I hate some people lol.

Was Mason Leader, had one other mason partner. Invest checks me and calls me out as a "leader of men" (godfather was detection immune) and despite me pointing that out, my fellow mason pointing that out and revealing, and Mason Leader being a set role... The town lynched me anyway. Town went on to lose the game because invest had no clue what the hell he was doing.

I had a game as a Red Citizen and I survived night 1 with a Vest. I died by getting lynched with the explanation being that "It's fine, he's only a Citizen." The Mason Leader then proceeded to beat down all 4 growing Cultists while the AFK Serial Killer was lynched and the Bus Driver ran over 2 of the remaining Mafia. The Godfather was then lynched the 4th day, and everybody had a happy ending, but me.

You know you're doing something wrong when the Mason Leader has more kills than the Serial Killer and the Godfather combined.

I was once in a game were the town lynched a revealed mayor. It was thanks to a Maf guy who said that the mayor was converted to the cult, despite there not being a cultist in game and the mayor showing off his extra votes (options were that the mayor would lose his extra votes when converted). Well, the Maf won afterwards

I got lynched by an escort's last will yesterday, because the escort said I was "immune to block" as a doctor. I watched the replay and it turns out the escort saw a "someone tried to block you but you turned them away. Roleblock averted!" message and totally mis-interpreted it.

THEN I SAID "LYNCH BLACK LYNCH BLACK CUZ SK KILLS ROLEBLOCKERS" AND HIS ONLY DEFENSE WAS THAT JAILED SK'S CANT LEAVE DEATH NOTES BUT I DIDNT BELIEVE HIM (THERE WAS A DEATH NOTE). THE NEXT THING YOU KNOW SOME GUY SAYS "LYNCH YELLOW HE IS MAFIA I AM SHERIFF" BUT I WANTED TO LYNCH THE SK TO REDUCE KPN AND YELLOW GOT LYNCHED BUT THAT GUY THAT ACCUSED YELLOW WAS AN EXECUTIONER. THE NEXT DAY THE SK DIDN'T GET LYNCHED CUZ TOWN THOUGHT SK WOULD HELP TOWN (LOL). THEN I RAGEQUIT WHEN IT WAS A 1V1V1 SCENARIO OF TOWN V. SK V. MAFIA

I was the Godfather and was outted both by an escort and a vigilante... by that time there were only 3 players left... mayor, myself (GF) and some other townie...

The mayor ignored the last wills of the escort and the vigilante and lynched the other townie for me...

Generally speaking, my favorite role is a vig. When pubs are dumb, shooting them is less of a liability and more of a duty. It's win-win.

I certainly had my derpiest game so far now.

Was a Serial Killer (with a coloured name to boot) and was spotted by a Sheriff on 1st night.
Knowing that I'll likely not last long after this, I decided I might aswell do as much damage to town as possible, so I picked out a guy at random, said I was Bus Driver, and that I swapped myself with him and he must be the real SK.

The town then all inno me and we lynch him, the guy turns out to be a Blackmailer xD
I then proceed to kill another guy the next night (he claimed he saw knives on me, so I wanted to kill an Inv, no one would heal him cause his sentance was drowned out by my yelling ) - turns out he was a Janitor \o/

Being like 95% sure that town will lynch me today, I decide I might aswell go out all troll and say that I didn't swap anyone today but I WAS actually swapped MYSELF by a trolling, second BD. Amazingly, despite that Sheriff spamming chat that I'm the SK, the town proceeds to lynch the target of another Sheriff, the last Mafioso. o/

I then spend like the next 4 days stabbing random people while the townies scratch their heads in confusion (although 1-2 of them always want to lynch me but never get the votes ), I know a Survivor and I realise who the Witch is, so I leave them alone. The game then culminates with the Mayor revealing and voting me, but then innoing me because the AFK Jailor who's never said anything finally shows up during my trial and I say he's the real SK, Mayor lynches Jailor, I kill Mayor, Survivor and Witch lynches last Sheriff with me, deeerp o/

Mayor? Of course, SUICIDE
Bodyguard? Suicide, but atleast not leave.
This is roughly what happened in a few days, as well as random Mafia lynches and a Doctor lynch.
It ended up with Lookout, Bus Driver, and me, Witch.
Lookout and Bus Driver both claimed, I was whining about the leavers.
Lookout was lynched.

I feel like I cheated with that win.

Newbie townies are something that cannot be helped.

When I first started, I lynched the Jesters often and even sheriffs. I got killed as a Mafia by the jailor for overly eager random lynching etc. Then I learnt from the better townies by watching them, that asked for roles before lynching and checked the role list to see if people were lying. I started leaving last wills as in investigator and sheriff for my findings and various other things.

Through my town roles I slowly learnt to lie as Mafia and other roles and be convincing(it was hard for me because I tended to be an overly honest and open person in real life) I remember how I fooled town that I was an investigator when I was actually a consig because we had no more use for the serial killer.

Honestly, I still make mistakes. In games where there are too many randoms, I end up killing innocent people as a jailor. There are also moments where I let people go and notice no kills, then follow up with an execution, but then I die almost right after. And there was that dumb mayor that revealed my role as a vigilante. I was so angry he had put my life in danger I almost shot him that night, but fortunately I managed to keep my cool and change out of him last minute to one I suspect and send a message at the same time

I'm still not fantastic at the game, and I rely on investigate roles too much, but people need time to both grow and learn. And we need to give them that time to watch the good people play and figure it out.

well i just played a game as a jailor.

N1, first jail he says he was citizen (game excludes citizen) > Killed the disguiser
D2, had to reveal i'm the jailor
N2, secoond jail > he was mafia and asked geoffery who did you inv. last night and what was his role, he also claims to be gf (LOL) > Kill GF dead
D3, we lynched Geoffrey > Last Mafia Dead

after D3 only SK was left and I jailed him in N5 and we lynched him on D6 -.-


Well i got a little bit lucky but the 2 mafia guys just had to say another role and the would haved survive

Spies need to stop sucking at PM tests. It's the easiest role to confirm besides mayor and they just refuse to do it. I just lynched a spy because all he said was "what the fuck" "I'm spy" and "get <insert name here>"

Also, people suck at reading last wills. They took a mafia's death note over the sheriff's last will in the game i just played.

I'm guessing the reason SC2 Mafia is bad is because lots of new players come, lots of players leave, resulting in most of the players being newbs.

The first time I played SC2 Mafia, the town (I was vigi) random lynched the mafia one after another even with the sheriff dead.
(I decided not to shoot throughout the game because I couldn't tell between mafia and town)

The second time, I was mafia culling town, only to lose to desperate random lynches.

Another game I had a BG/Jailer v.s GF(me) v.s SK endgame.
town won that one.

Yesterday town won a troll game.
GF, 2 random mafia, SK, and 11 jailors with 1 execution.

End of the game was Mafioso, SK, and 2 jailors with no executions.
I jailed the other jailor, and both attacked him. So we survived one night. We really confused the mafia and SK, and the next night, they attacked eachother; the mafioso died.
So then me and the other jailor lynched the SK and won it for town.

The SK got super mad and said he was reporting us for gamethrowing.
I don't see how it's gamethrowing if you win, but it was a great finish.

Ok, this game started off with no sheriff and a random nuetral. This means that the pubs are doomed to begin with.

I got sk.
didn't kill anyone at all.
d3 got invested, claimed doc.
d10 all mafia were lynched
d16 the last POSSIBLE doc got lynched by a confused town
d17 I was voted up and claimed the random nuetral was a witch
d18-32 townies were lynched, everyone thought they were being witched and noone could stop anything
d33 I successfully lynch the proven inspector by claiming he is witch with the only other person left the jailor (with no executions left)
After the game everyone was incredibly confused at the fact I was sk with no sk kills and that there was no witch, but hey. free win

Two days ago, I played a game where I was gf and the mafia had a framer and a mafioso.

So, after night one, the sheriff out the SK, and we lynch him.
The next night, I check and see spies aren't excluded, so I say to the mafia in night chat:

"Tomorrow, I'm gonna pretend to be sheriff again and out someone saying they're mafia."

The next day, the sheriff that got the SK speaks up and declares someone (who was framed) was mafia. When he does this, a Spy starts freaking out in capital letters, saying that the sheriff is actually mafia. We end up lynching the sheriff. In night chat, we were laughing at how the spy fell for it, and he ragequit before dawn.
Then, because the guy was sheriff, we lynched the framed guy the next day, and he was the Doctor.

Couldn't have worked out more perfectly.... love games like those.

They may not be the funnest roles but they are essential pieces in balancing a mafia game...
