Cultist. Having that in a game can REALLY throw it off balance. Once the cult gets the mayor, it's game over. (Well, once cult gets 3 or more it's usually game over). Cultist really throws a twist in a game.

Cultist gets my vote.

Cult is usually fun. I have a problem when i'm a cult though; the people I convert didn't wanna become cult. Then they rage.

I picked amnesiac, but for an entirely different reason from that of the other people who voted for it. I like to have allies to work with and the amnesiac and cultist are the only roles that can really become part of a faction. The amnesiac is nice because you have the freedom to choose who to ally with.

I went for Cultist. I just like recruiting roles, and while I love being any Neutral (especially Executioner/Jester because I don't care how the game actually ends) I like the notion of being part of a third faction which is secretly spreading.

There is nothing better in the game in my opinion than a Random Any slot which is a Cultist, and near the end of the game a Cult member ends up in the graveyard for the first time - complete panic xD

I don't understand why people rage quit and gamethrow when they get converted. Maybe it's because teamwork and communication have disappeared from almost every SC2 Mafia game and people don't like having their power role taken away from them.

I've won a couple games without even picking a side. My normal goal in the game is to place myself at the head of the mystery and try to solve it before I die. The Mafia/Neutrals usually keep me alive since they figure I'll end up getting myself lynched or executed in jail, but as long as you can pull the strings in a game the correct way, it's never a problem.

Jester. Arsonist and Serial Killer tend to piss me off due to the mafia's tendency to find me and vote me out (with haphazard town support). Revenge is bittersweet in that the town usually loses for killing me off early, especially if they're the ones to actually out me (and give away their roles).

Executioner is a pain if a townie gets cleared, or if derp town wants to waste a lynch on an exec who has not turned jester.

Well... in terms of funness... Jester is the most fun.

If you can predict the next person to die and be caught seen my a lookout or det.

or when you attempt to random lynch and say it was a mistake and then give a bullshit role that is usually a lie.

Town will almost always fall for it...

Well I'd actually say trolling is a good part of strategy as much as it disgusts me. Usually mafia does it... and the strategy as I have learnt from some folks... is to mute the troller so you can read the useful stuff.

I once had a vigilante that pretended to be Jester for the whole game... then right at the end, revealed himself, shot a mafia and then won.

Pretending to be jester can work both ways, I once did it as sheriff and it kept the mafia from killing me. But when I revealed no one believed me and I ended up getting lynched, followed by some "omg troll sheriff" comments xD
