I thought it was fairly dark but a little slow until the end. I think things are setting up for a big shitstorm amongst the main characters here pretty soon. If all of them are alive in 2-3 episodes I'll be somewhat surprised. (If you've read the books don't ruin it!)

Also, totally agree about Tyrion. I loved him in season 1 but thought of him as nothing more than the humorous release for the series until near the end of it. Now in season 2 he's quickly becoming my favorite character.
