Forum Suggestion: XAt Chat

So, this will serve as a useful purpose to get the members of this forum to communicate in a much better way.

There are a lot of people on this forum that I don't know that well because there is no possible alternative communication other than posting on a message board.

The solution to the problem is put a chat box on the site. Everyone who is on the site will be able to talk to each other at the same time, instead of having to refresh.

This is something the forum could really use. It will solve a lot of problems. It can be managed much easier too.

Things admins can do:

Ban.
Make Admin.
Make Moderator.
Make Member
Make Guest.
Kick
Etc.

Things mods can do:
Ban for up to 6 hours.
Make Member
Make Guest
Kick
Etc.

And it goes on, so keeping trolls down should be no problem.

Whoever controls the site, all you have to do is go there and click 'Get a chatbox'.


Make a new forum in the Meeting Hall, name it Chat and in the description post the EMBED code.

It will end up looking like this:



You can have your own background in the chat, edit the site, and many other things.

I don't see how we can't benefit from having something like this.

I REALLY don't.

Xat is fun. Chatango looks so plain, It's not even funny. Plus, you have to sign up and everything. We have Skype for that.

You don't need to sign up for Chatango, and it has a lot more utility to it

Also you don't need to pay for fucking 3/4ths of its features

Chat takes away from forum activity.

The simple solution isn't chat. The simple solution is posting in GD more, and getting to know one another. Right now, it seems like the vast majority of GD threads are troll threads, staff drama, and spam.
