Simply put, these people come from trusted sources who recommend them. In light of nobody asking but these guys, and most people who ask being unfit for the position, would you rather us force people to work under us and do nothing?

You mean they come from a Benefactor who was made keeper because he provides a service that is both pointless and hypocritical to support?

I would prefer it if you guys realized that the Report Forum is not the end-all be-all of the community. I would much prefer a smaller moderator team full of people the community actually knows and feels connected to, who can then positively affect the community by being active and engaging in a forum that people can actually see.

I would prefer it if a focus is placed once again on actually motivating the community to want to be civil instead of giving them more reasons to rebel.

This game was fine before the Report Forum was implemented, and while I'm not saying it should be done away with, you are all so obsessed with it's importance because it gives you some warped sense of importance that you've lost sight of what is actually important.

First off, is your name related to the final boss in Fable or Fable the lost chapters? (I only ask because these are my favourite games ever )

Second, why is it important for people like me to be active on the forums before becoming a keeper or a mod? (I'm only becoming a mod on the EU which atm only has one inactive mod and no others.)

Is it important for people to need to post abstractly on the forums before they can prove themselves in game?
Or do you believe, like me that if you can prove you can be a good mod and are trusted in some form or way AND recommended BUT you don't have a forum account, you can still be approved for a mod INGAME?

Besides the point... I believe I've fulfilled my role of keeper on this forums as well as I am actively doing the reports, and although my epenis may not be as big and yours (post count for those of you that don't know that post count is directly relational to your epenis) I am striving to get all the correction surgery I can on it and have it just as big as my other Penis's on other forums which I constantly snipe

Although I see that you have not mentioned me specifically and I have gone after you as to say... I hope you will take no offence by this but as my argument about this is about the people becoming staff instead of the way they are found, it would be quite hard for me to remain right without putting myself out there for your scrutinising and watchful eyes for you to know who to look out for to fuck up some time to prove your theory, or for me to not fuck up proving mine

You are applying to a community job. One that dictates whether someone gets to play the game or not. We have unspoken(or spoken) rules on forum activity when signing up for Forum Mafia, but that doesn't apply to acquiring Keeper status or moderator in-game? Yeah okay. How exactly are we supposed to get a grasp of your personality, your flaws, pretty much anything about you if you register a day before being promoted? Just wait until you do something horrible and then remove you? That is DR's policy currently, after all.

No, but as I said above, if you have been playing any amount of time and haven't wandered over to the forums by now, you obviously have no drive to interact with the community before it became "required". Why should you be taken over pretty much anyone who has shown an invested interest in the community? Because you're a friend of someone who bought his way into power? No offense but I don't give a shit if he recommended you.

No one but Akira and Ambient gives two fucks about how many reports you do. Let's just get that out of the way. Anyone with even a basic understanding of basically anything can do reports, Ambient will still pretty much second guess everything you do anyway. That should not be the only qualification of a keeper. Instead, I'd much prefer someone I know I can trust in said position. And no, post count has nothing to do with this, I average about 3 posts a day judging by my post count.
