Team Speak for cheaters ?!?

Hello all,

I've been playing with the idea of having a formal setting for troll players that want to exceed the current restrictions. I have been exchanging ideas with Dark Revenant, Akira, Creedkings, Raptorblaze, Darklordnem and Terripax.
I've also approached Archangel, Gingerape about the idea. Gingerape would be the moderator for the Troll room, if at all needed.

Basically, the idea would be the following, the TS was reserved for players with a clean record. Participating further in the forums and so forth, we came to realize that many players might enjoy troll games so long as everyone was on the same page. In that aspect, we thought of helping these players to further enhance the trolling experience while at the same time protecting the innocent players from any moral and mortal injuries (LOL).
Certified Tolls, would get the T status on the TS, giving them only access to the troll rooms, while Mafia level 1 would be for any conventional players that follows the current rules, and Mafia level 2 for any Donor, Patron, and Benefactors, giving them access to beginner and advance room.

What we were thinking is this, Trolls and friends would join the TS Troll Warning room, and from there would create a party of willing victims, sorry I meant participants, and would launch as party, and every player would type ‘TROLL’ in the start-up, therefor agreeing to the TROLL GAME. Why would you want to do this? Well doing so, would make it a private party of consenting players and no complaints would be retained from either the in game or TS. Immunity!!! Any Keeper reviewing a replay with the key word TROLL from all the players would know to ignore the report.

So before we do this, I want feedback, comments, obviously we are doing this for our famous and renowned players such as ARCHANGEL and NECROPLANT, what say you guys? Interested? Kill the project now?

or it's just a different way of playing... isn't it the point of why we play? to have fun? if we can reach more ppl and unifying them in a stronger group making them enjoy the game even more, why would we oppose ourselves to that? I don't want to play with ppl that cheat in a regular game, but I wouldn't mind playing in a group where you expect people to be creative at cheating. I've always kick votes the players without exceptions, but this would actually sound fun to me.... it may well be a bad idea, but we can always do away with it if it was, and if nothing else, we gained experience !

well sorry that my post sounded so negative and perhaps i didn't word it well enough. The idea is not to create two groups of players, the idea is to give every players two different ways of playing the same game... does this help clarify my thought a little better?

If I'm understanding...
I think it would be a bit difficult to get a full house of Trolls willingly in a game.
I know the TS server isn't very large as of yet.
Maybe a trial run would be best.
Then we can use the feedback from Burnt and Necro (sorry Arch, banned) to see if it's dumb or not.

So you're suggesting splitting up an already small community, just for Troll Games? Or have you actually attempted to poll the amount of players who actually use TS?
Because splitting your "Mafia Level One" players with "Mafia Level Two (Donors)" would be segregating a large amount of players, which is bad. Segregation is always bad.

It wouldn't be healthy for a thriving community, at all. Try again when you have 100+ active TS participants, where balance might actually find somewhere to stand.

Mafia TROLL is for ppl who are pro and enjoy that specific aspect of the game. If you remember, the TS was only for ppl that were not on any kind of list, this takes out all of the watch list ppl. So making a troll room actually makes sens in that context. Secondly, Mafia 1 power is a basic power that insures the players that doN,t want to be trolled not to be disturbed by the trolls, So TOLLS is the lost power class on the server giving them all the freedom to do what ever they can to be annoying. Trolls do not have access tot he other mafia rooms. Mafia level 1 is what everybody in good standing with this forum gets. Level 2 is simply a recognition for being a donor pr patron, same as in game, a thank you for supporting DR. Level 3 are reserved to benefactors and KVT members. Again, mafia classes all pretty much have the same access and rights. The Mafia Admin is just that, Mafia Mods and then the server Admin is revered to the ones making and adjusting the class power.

So no, we are not separating ppl, TS was originally available to players that followed the rules, if anything we made it more accessible to everyone, and again, Mafia level players can join the TROLL room....

bottom line, we are making an effort to make things more interesting, yes we might have to adjust, but I don't mind doing it because I think it's worth it, up to all of you to evaluate it and to use it or not.

Sorry, but Burnteskimo preaty much sums it up. This is incredibly stupid. Lets see what Urban Dictionary says on trolling

If everyone is giving their consent to allow gamethrowing/griefing, then it's realy hard to piss people off. The whole fun of troll day was watching people who didn't get what was going on rage. If you honestly want to feel like badasses and trolls by haveing a game like this, knock yourself out. However, since everyone knows what's going on, this completly misses what trolling is about. Having Admiral or Archangel won't do a thing to change that.

Trolling is not cheating/gamethrowing/griefing. Don't mess them up. The problem is that there is a huge gap in abilities and understanding of the game. For example, new players normally DO NOT LIE as town. But the experienced players do. Newbies do not like kill-kill-kill setups. Newbies got trolled, rage and leave. And that is bad.

Good fences make good neighbours. And for those who said segregation is bad - kindergarten kids should be taught astrophysics together with university students.
