4 - Investigation Matchings

• Your target appears to be in power. He is Alan Rikkin (Mayor).
• Your Target's Animus doesn't appear to have any Modifications... They may be a Abstergo Agent (Citizen), but they may also be William Miles (Godfather), Anson Peake (Revolutionist), or a Jester.
• Your Target's Animus appears to be primed to collect information. They may be a Security Detail (Sheriff), Animus Programmer (Investigator), but may also be an Consigliere, or Executioner.
• Your Target's Animus appears to be involved in the desynchronization process in some way. They may be Virtual Security Agent (Doctor), PPE Quatermaster (Armorsmith), but may also be Serial Killer, or Spree Killer.
• Your Target's Animus appears to be involved primariliry in desynchronizations. They may be an Animus Desynchronizer (Vigilante) or Animus Supervisor (Jailor), but he may also be Lucy Stillman (Assassin-aligned Jailor), or Mafioso.
• Your Target's Animus appears to be invovled in data management. They may be a Data Analyst (Coroner (Abstergo Aligned)), but he may also be a Erudito (Coroner (Assassin Aligned)), or Janitor.
• Your Target's Animus appears to be deeply invovled in the Animus network. They may be an Animus Switcher (Bus Driver), Abstergo Circuit Breaker (Escort), or Consort.
• Your Target's Animus uses spyware to alter workings and monitor movements. They may be a Abstergo Tracker (Detective), Abstergo Watcher (Lookout), but he may also be a Disguiser, Framer, or Ghost.
• Your Target's Animus appears to be highly Synchronized. They may be a Session Logger (Journalist), but may also be an Amnesiac, or Student.
• Your Target's Animus appears to have modifications you dont recognize... They may be a Weaponmaster (Gunsmith), Elite Agent (Veteran), but may also be the Guardian of Eden (Witch) or a New Abstergo Agent.

6 - Animus Training Areas and Effects:

Each night, you will be subjected to a random area of training. These areas correspeond to key points in history we have linked to your DNA profile. Some of these areas will have different effects on your performance as indicated below. The area selected is random unless directly stated by CEO Alan Rikkin.

• Antioch - Normal
• Constantinople - Investigative Roles May Select 2 Targets if they choose, They will recieve both answers but not which is which.
• Firenze - Normal
• Souk - Desynchronization prevention roles (Virtual Sec. Agent / Bodyguard) may select 2 targets.
• Venezia - Normal
• Sienna - Night Will last 1/2 Normal Time
• Castel Gandolfo - Normal
• San Donato - Normal
• The Hidden City of Cappadocia - Night Immunities (Both Investiagtive and Survival) are Null and Void

Animus Session One will take place in Rhodes.

7 - Rules and Code of Conduct


ALL RECRUITS MUST EITHER POST IN DAY 1 OR BE ACTIVE DURING THE FIRST 1/2 OF THE EXTENDED NIGHT 1 (NIGHT 1 IS 48 HOURS). IF YOU FAIL TO MAKE CONTACT AFTER 24 HOURS OF NIGHT HAS PASSED YOU WILL BE REPLACED WITH A RESERVE!

No Private Messages
No Rep Messages
No outside contact (skype, MSN, SC2, ext)
No quoting PM's at all.
No direct quoting Jail chat
Videos are fine in last wills, but not in the day thread.
Small images are allowed in moderation. Large images must be placed in spoiler tags. Don't abuse this. No NSFW images at all.
Dont lie about mechanics.
Choose an Avatar and stick with it please.
All evil and neutral roles can write Death Notes.
No cheating (Ambient is watching)
A S-FM may happen in dead chat. No living players may participate in M-FM or S-FMs.

8 - Frequently Asked Questions

Who is Immune to Investigation?

William Miles is completely immune to Investigation. (Not Suspicious to Security Detail and Abstergo Agent to Animus Programmers)
Security Detail can only find Assassin's and New Abstergo Agents (inclunding Anson Peake), so they will not detect any neutral aligned roles (aside from New Abstergo)
Anson Peake shows up as an Abstergo Agent to Animus Programmers, but as a New Abstergo Agent to Security Detail.

Can the Animus Desynchronizer act during Animus Session One?

If they deem fit, though Abstergo Industries advises against it.

Can the Guardian of Eden cause self Targets?

The Apple of Eden is a very powerful artifact. I'm certain that if the wielder wished it, they could make someone kill themself. (So yes.)

Is the Jailor's kill a Role Block?

Yes, and pierces immunties. Normal Jailing isn't.

Do Virtual Security Agents get notified if their target was attacked

Yes

Will the town be notified when the Jailor Codes reshuffle

No. It can happen at any time.

Potential Random Assassin Roles:

- One use ability to force your conciousness through the animus program into another player. Your original body will appear to have force desynchronized.

Spoiler : Consigliere :

- Once per Animus session you may hack into any players emails to find the email containing their role during the investigation
- Your targets exact role will be revealed to you.

Spoiler : Mafioso :

- You may suggest a kill target each night to the Brotherhood. Do this by posting -kill PLAYER in your night threads. William Miles, if alive, overrides your decision.

Spoiler : Janitor :

- You may target a player's animus with a shock that, if that player is targeted by a desynchronization ability, will instead make it a force desync, cleaning their role.
- You are limited to 2 successful force desyncs.

Spoiler : Drug Dealer :

- You may target a player each night and infect their animus showing false information. You may select one of the following messages to show the target:
- Attacked and Healed
- Animus Swapped
- Role Blocked
- Controlled by The Guardian of Eden.
- This ability has limitless uses.

- You may target a players animus once a night and break it from the circuit, disallowing them from acting. (Role Block)

- You may target two targets a night and change their animus protocols to look like agents of New Abstergo or like Assassins to investigative agents.
- You are not immune to detection.

Potential Random Neutral Roles:

- Desynchronize any target of your choice once per night.
- You will survive the first attack made against you.

Spoiler : Arsonist :

- Place a bug in any targets animus once per night placing a sleeper program executing in the background of your targets animus.
- At any point you may say a codeword that will drive all players you have bugged into extreme psychosis.
- You will survive the first attack made against you.

Spoiler : Spree Killer :

- Target any player and desynchronize any players that target that players animus that night. Note that if the player you target, targets someone else, they will not be killed in this manner.
- You will survive the first attack made against you.

Spoiler : Executioner :

- You have no abilities.
- Your objective is to get X's contract terminated.
- You are not immune during the Animus Sessions.

Spoiler : Amnesiac :

- You may select any role from the graveyard and become that role.
- You may do this at any time, including the board meeting.
- If that role has charges, you will receive the amount of charges they had remaining (minimum: 1)
- Due to upgraded animus security, Alan Rikken, Anson Peake and William Miles cannot be selected.

- You are a disgruntled Abstergo Employee who's objective is nothing more than to have your contract terminated.
- If you succeed in having your contract terminated, you may select one person who voted to remove you to taste your concealed weapon.

Spoiler : Student :

- At any point, you may select a player to be your mentor. Both your and your mentor's animi will be linked and you will get a direct animus session chat with them, and you will be told their role.
- Your objective is your mentor's objective.
- If your mentor dies, you become their role without exception.

Spoiler : Ghost :

- You have no abilities while alive.
- Once killed, you will be given the name and affiliation of the person who killed you (if this was a contract termination, the hammer vote will be your target)
- You may then possess any player for the duration of their day and talk and vote as they would.
- Your objective is to die, and ensure the faction that killed you loses.

- You may protect any targets animus from Desynchronization. If you detect a Desynchronization attempt incoming you will track it back to it's source and overcharge your animus to Desynchronize the assailiant at the cost of your own life.
- You cannot be protected by Virtual Security Agents during an Overcharge.

- Plant a bug in a targets Animus to see who they targetted that Session.

- Equip a targets Animus with spyware to see who targets that Animus that Session

- You may not Swap your own position on the Network
- Players will be informed their position on the Network has been switched.

I am currently addressing issues with permissions disallowing FM Players from changing their avatars, passwords and online status.
