Role Achievements Reset

All of the roles I've won as are now reset (I only had to win as Spy and then I would have won with every role). Additionally, everyone in each of my games seem to have their achievements reset from what I can see. Is this being worked on?

I have also seen about 5-6 straight duels where only the bodyguard died. The attacker keeps living. I doubt there is some major doc related coincidence going on.

If anyone can help with the roles resetting...let me know please. Thank you.

No, I doubt it's worked on, would be too much work from DR to restore so many people that plays Mafia.
If the attacker keeps living, it's because the Bodyguard doesn't ignore invulnerable armor and he just dies. Typically, the Godfather and SK are always put in a setup and are invulnerable.

And now I am also getting +25 and +50 after each game ends as points won in russian roulette. I am not complaining about the extra points...but this is so glitchy. I would prefer my achievements back over the random point bursts. I also see everyone (even people with over 10000 games played) as having like 1-5 wins in total. Very strange.

Well it turns out that not everyone needs work...I don't see their achievements but none of them were "winning their first game as..." All it does is show me that they have no achievements won in the Help window. As for myself, I would like all of my role-wins back. I won as everyone other than the Spy.

It's not a glitch. DR has done a reset on all achievements, and added new achievements. It now gives you extra points if you get a first win on a role.

I don't know, that's a question to DR, lol. My guess is to give Mafia players something to achieve again, and since there are new achievements they now have more things to achieve. Which is a good thing for DR since players might be eager to achieve these achievements and might even boost it back to page 1.

You're probably not seeing new achievements in the Help section because they haven't achieved any, yet. I did the same thing and only saw one person with an achievement called "Last Standing" or something.

Well either way...why did I lose all the roles I won as previously? And did everyone lose the roles they won with previously? Or am I the unlucky one? I would like my -alist restored to only having Spy listed there.

I just said I don't know, I already gave you my guess. If you want a good answer you'll just have to wait for some moderator or DR himself to respond here. (Or if you want to hear it from DR himself then just send him a PM)

I know you gave your guess...I was posting my desire to have my roles restored really for the mods or whoever is able to help me with my predicament.

But he got rid of Tutorial, for script space, and that allowed him to do things like add new achievements and left space for future updates, things like that. It seems that everyone still has their roles won except for me. If I'm the only one who lost his completed roles, I should be able to get them back. I can show replays as proof.

I lost all mine, and I haven't seen anyone with their roles still. They probably have re won them. It's been 2 days now, I think, so I am sure a lot of people have won a number of their roles back now.

I lost mine also. And last time I saw the Town won, I saw the majority getting their first wins.

They were reset to allow for point boosts. I added more achieves (with more on the way for future updates), so this seemed an appropriate time to reset them.

Also, victories were calculated from the achieves. The game actually tracks how many times you have won as each role, so I'll probably be adding some achievements relating to winning as some common roles (like doctor or sheriff) a ton of times.
