Couple of questions about game mechanics

    Hi guys,

    1) If I'm a doctor and I heal someone the same night I get killed, does my target get healed?

    2) 2 cult vs 2 mason, end of game, nobody can convert/club anyone...who wins after 3 nights?

    3) Roulette: I win the minigame but quit/drop from the game due to lag. Do I still get points?

Re: Couple of questions about game mechanics

    Hello!

    1. Depends on night order of the killer (usually i think you die, then your target does) and if the target was killed by a certain role. Some attacks are unhealable.
    2. Cult. Everything else wins ties over the town (unless cit option is turned on against mafia)
    3. As long as it says "Points saved" before you leave.

If any of these answers are incorrect, please correctly adjust them. I am just answering these to the best of my knowledge.
    Hope it helps!

    1) Yes. Your target still get healed. The same with roleblocking, shooting, bussing, witching, etc. The only reason why you don't get investigation results the same night you died is to prevent lag cheating.

    2) Mason win I guess. Remember to -skip day.

    3) Not sure...

    #1 never seen that happen

#2 doesn't cult beat town in a tie?

@drama: that is witching not killing. Like in FMs when the night actions take place before healing. (i.e. mafioso shoots, then later down the list doctors heal. so if you get shot u cant heal)

Re: Couple of questions about game mechanics

    1) Normally, your (insert night action here) would go through. However, I believe that turning on Night Sequence before the game will invoke an action order where killing happens before healing, negating your heal (I need confirmation on this: my memory is fuzzy). However, very few people use Night Sequence...
    2) I thought that the town wins if no one died for a specific number of days... I'm not terribly knowledgable on stalemate rules, when they occur, and what happens, so don't take my word for it.
    3) I believe you need to be in game until the 'Points Saved' appears. If you notice, it only shows the points gained for players still in game after the win screen, so you can assume that those people are the only ones receiving points (also, this prevents issues with people using -suicide and quitting to get points faster).

I know for a fact that heals normally go through even after dying (just like how vigilante shots still get fired): I just don't know about the whole Night Sequence thing...

About the cult v mason tie, the cultist would win in a 1v1 tie due to that stalemate rule, but does the same go for a 2v2 where the game doesn't automatically end? This is the question...

Mk. Wasn't sure, but I have died and then my target did the next day....so I have my doubts..

Well wouldn't it still be considered a stalemate? So the cult still wins? I've never gone the whole time without kills happening XD just trying to pry out the answer.

Re: Couple of questions about game mechanics

1: Yes, your target will get healed.
2: Nobody wins, as long as on the last day in the Secret Ballot that will go off since no one is dying, both Cultist vote for the same person and both Masons vote for the same person.
3: If you see the Points Saved at the end of the Roulette, you can leave or stay freely without losing your Roulette points.

The rules of ties only go into effect for 1v1 situations, if it is 2v2, the game does a Secret Ballot where nobody can see who the other people are voting for. It is the job of the two sides to unanimously decide on the same person and either hope the opposing team votes 2 different people, in which case you will win because 2 guilties is more than 1 innocent; or it will result in a Nobody Wins.

    Thanks for the clarification ^^
