One time as a Jester, 2 out of 3 mafia members left D1. D2, I claimed to be the serial killer, telling the town I stood no chance because the mafia died too early. Since a jester was in the roles list, many of them were suspicious and I didn't get lynched that day. Fortunately, N2, ANOTHER jester got killed by the jailor. They didn't count on the random neutral being another jester, so they believed me and lynched me. The funny part was that the random guilty voter who died was the last mafia member (a mafioso).

Here's mine, but my strategy can best be described by what I say to the victim. Here goes:

Once upon a time I rolled Executioner.

It turned out my target was the Jester. We lynched him and I got the win message - hooray. Then I died the subsequent night for voting guilty on the jester.

One time I was Jester and a guy out of the blue on Day 3 decided to say I was Mafia. I played a long and poorly claimed I was framed, being very careful to ignore any questions to what role I was claiming. I get lynched, Jester comes up, everyone figures me to have been framed. The the next day comes up and the guy that accused me was a Jester who was now dead from feeling guilty over lynching me.

You know how town salivates for a sheriff to have a POSITIVE lead on mafia? That's what I do. They always claim exe...and it's up to the town's judgement to decide who to believe. Most of the time, I get lynched.

Go on trial, and say "YES JESTER WIN!" spam it until you get lynched. Town will believe you're trying to wifom them into thinking you're scum. But since you're actually double-wifoming and they don't know, you'll get lynched.

Earlier today I won as jester on day 2... There was a donor so I said we should random lynch him.... then I changed my mind and said we should random lynch yellow, who stated that I was too bloodthirsty so I should get lynched..

After that, it took them about 5 seconds to vote me up... I claimed cit and got lynched...

Last time I got Jester I spammed "TROLL GAME" repeatedly Day 1 (no lynch). Day 2 I spammed "TROLL SAYS ITS RANDOM LYNCH TIME", and proceeded to vote red, blue, teal etc. all the way down the list. I got put up on trial and said "TROLL CLAIMS JESTER." "IT IS LISTED ON THE ROLES LIST LOL". Got lynched with 6 guilties.

I got to the very end of the game. An escort kept blocking the GF but as there were 4 of us left, 2 Town and 1 GF besides from me, I kept stalling the game by not voting for the GF when the 2 townies voted for him to be lynched. Then the notification came up saying if no one dies then it's a stalemate.

So then I admitted I was the Jester and said that I wouldn't vote to lynch the GF and they will all have to lynch me to stop a stalemate. And then they lynched me through the secret ballot vote when there was less than 10 seconds left on the day timer.

I was a Disguiser, and my two teammates were Godfather and Janitor. After the Janitor was afk for half the game, the Godfather gave no defense when put up to trial, and Janitor died shortly thereafter, I was the only mafia member alive. After a few attempts at disguising, I finally get someone. I don't remember but I think they were citizen or something. I could be wrong. Anyways, there's your into. Here's how the rest of the game plays out:

Only 4 people left: Doctor, Doctor, Jester, and me.
For the past few nights both doctors have been healing each other and bragging that they are an unstoppable pair.
At night, the Jester annoys me. He must know my dirty secret. He does it two nights in a row because I'm stupid and it takes me a second to get what the Jester is implying.
For the past few days the doctor pair has been wanting to lynch the Jester, but this is before I knew who he was.
Once I get the clue, I make it look like I hesitantly put the Jester up to trial.
Both doctors vote guilty, I abstain (but I say to them that I know he's guilty).
The votes come up, he's guilty. He goes up for execution.
RedDoctor: "Haha, worst Mafia player of the year award goes to TealCit!" (TealCit is me)

*RedDoctor has given up on life*
I target BlueDoctor during the night. The next day, I am the only one alive, and both the mafia and the Jester win.

They may have been immune from murder, but they were not immune from stupidity.

Greatest way to be instalynched as Jester:

On Day 2 claim vig and that you shot red (or whoever seems to be lurking) and he is immune. Town will go along with you until they realize that vigs can't shoot first night. They realize you are GF/SK and instalynch you.

However, if the ploy fails then the town realizes you are jester for whole game. Nonetheless, huge WIFOM potential if u are sheriff or something

OK bros heres a tip from an expert (myself). Don't ever claim you are sheriff or invest. Everybody and their sister knows ur lying if u claim that. Even if you are actually sheriff or invest. This goes for the exec as well. OK so how do u get lynched? ez.

Step 1 - Don't annoy anybody you stupid cunt unless in the situation by Orangepill where jester knew mafia.

Step 2 - If you claim a role, don't be dumb about it. Try to act like that role and the person who actually has the role will be suspicious. Claim something like coroner, lookout, escort. Don't claim jailor or doc or mafia will rape u at night.

Step 3 - Let's say you claimed escort, this depends on ppl but u can try to claim u roleblocked someone. If that person is talkative the will either say ur lying -> lynch or realize ur a jester.

Step 4 - On trial. There are two types of thought on getting guilty votes. Ash style and Regular style. Ash style is fucking stupid but so is 90% of town so it might just work. His strategy is to spam "Jester win ez LOLOL". People will be like oh if he was rly jester he wouldn't say that and then guilty, but since ur jester u win.

Regular style is as soon as you are on trial just don't say anything. Almost always people will guilty against someone that doesn't say anything. Or you can try to claim some false shit but people can guess that you are jester from that. If you were spamming prior to getting lynched than you not saying anything is suspicious as well.

In summary, Jester is the hardest class in the game.

Eskimo, I would suggest saying you, yourself, was annoyed. Put emotion into the statement, insist you are being annoyed every night. This make you look like you aren't the Jester, shifts the blame to someone else.
And when on the stand, say things like, "I'm important to town," or, "I don't want to reveal my role because I'll die tonight, but town loses without me." These are the kind of things a Godfather does. It is just another style, but your Regular Style and Ash's Style (surprisingly) work just as well.

Really? By claiming invest I managed to get lynched as Jester on the second day 80% of the time. And with some subtle tweaks in the wordings I can win as executioner on the 2nd day 70% of the time. Idk it works for me.

Most recently, I visited a guy who I guessed would be killed n1. He was, and a detective noticed. After making it through day 2 because the sk was also found but nobody got put on trial, the (then undiscovered) gf decided to get the town to lynch me first.

I got lucky that game, but point is, the Jester's night ability can actually help if you act suspiciously, then visit the guy who will most likely be killed that night. If a detective or lookout is in the game, this might work to your advantage.

You get lynched first thing next day.
Though I think they knew I'm jester the second time, and just did to get rid of me.

Jester is pretty easy to play... especially if a Sheriff fairly quickly finds mafia... you just defend the mafia guy and they'll think you're his mafia buddy.

Number 1 jester mistake is trying to pretend to be a killing role. Killing roles get lynched because they are trying to pretend to not be killing even when evidence is against them. Good strats for not dying at night are to actively try to get town lynched (most maf/sk will leave people alone if they are helping them off town) or pretending to be bmed even when you arent (maf will know they didnt bm you and will like that you are lying to town). If you can get people to suspect you, silence or vehemenently claiming a role you arent or cant be will get you lynched. If you can gain trust, claim you are 100% sure someone is maf, if they arent, you will be lynched. If an invest claims you are cit/sinister, claim to be a citizen. No one ever believes cit claims even if they are true. You can also call yourself a civilian, since its a common mistake for people who arent cits to think the word is civ. Claiming civ when asked for role will 95% of the time get you lynched.
