-impeach the mayor !

This is my idea of how you could allow town to save itself from a bad/troll mayor, without knowingly killing a fellow town.

Add an ability to -impeach

If impeachment is successful, the mayor will be revealed as impeached, in the same fashion he is revealed: "TROLLINGASSHOLE, The Mayor, has been impeached!!"

He will then lose his extra votes.

the majority of remaining town is required to vote for an -impeach in order for a successful impeachment

ONLY town roles have the ability to -impeach. Voting is completely anonymous, similar to repicking host.

A town can troll way more, anyway why not just get rid of Survivor, that's your usual idea.

I'm that guy who read the first couple pages and the last couple pages of a book and based my book report off that.

I'm the guy who googles a plot synopsis of the book and turns that information in to a literary critique.
Then, I turned it in to my Eng 106 professor who taught at Purdue at one point, and got an A.
I told the professor that after the class was over and I had gotten my semester grade, he told me I should be an English major. LAWLAWLAWL nothx.

I think that this idea deserves a lot of consideration, but one must be careful in how far one goes to combat trolls.

If you think about it, almost any major power role can be abused by a troll to cause a loss for a team. Vigilante, Jailor, BUS DRIVERS,... then that list may extend further in the future to include Sheriffs or Investigators or whatnot.

I'm not saying that this is a bad idea; just be sure to explain why its important solely for mayor to have to this change, when if you really want to combat ALL trolls you will really have to regulate all PRs and that takes the individual out of the equation. While trolls are not fun, they and bad players are a component of the individual, an essential part of an mafia game, where each person has their own patterns and quirks. I guess that this is actually a more general critique of role changes in general.

Seriously though, think about it the other way: troll town can abuse this against the mayor. Generally, there's an inherent zero sum element in these kind of changes.
