    Question about illegal things/gamethrowing

Alright, I just started playing this recently and really like it. I had a question that I hope someone could answer. I got kicked recently for doing the following: I was Consort and got found out relatively early, then when I got lynched I said, as my last words "eh, make it a quick game, brown is godfather and [teal] is janitor." However, neither of them were actually mafia. I then got warned and kicked quickly for gamethrowing, when I was just trying to get 2 extra people killed from the grave.

    Is this wrong?

You should not have been kicked by any means if what you said was actually a lie.
You should still have the replay if this was recent. Is there any way you can post it?

Post the replay. Moderators can differentiate between game throwers and liars, if this one isn't they need to be instructed how to do so.

This game is about lying... you shouldnt have been removed.

edit: or if you remember the name of the mod?

I didn't think we could. And Landstander isn't a mod last I checked. That is why I assumed it was Archaic because I didn't know what an Associate was at the time.

Yeah, you said it was Landstander. But Landstander isn't a Moderator, just a Patron. Or some kind of other Donor, I forget which.

This is not the first case of bad moderators. One time I was jailor and I jailed JackOSpades (obviously he was usign another name), he was town and I executed him, so I failed, then I got kicked from the game...

Unfortunately, that game was already many time ago, so I missed the replay. Please be careful selecting people to moderate.

Mods will kick you if you
a)demand they read their role card.
b)execute someone as jailor when there is good and obvious evidence that they are town. <--Because this is griefing/gamethrowing

Point a) can be normally solved by giving a warning. Kicking is too harsh.
Point b) is debatable. Good and obvious evidence is subjective. Griefing/gamethrowing can only be confirmed after reviewing the whole replay.

    Do add this:
    c) Lagging
Give a warning, maybe pause the game for a while for them to fix before kicking the offenders.

I don't like kick happy moderators who do not use warnings beforehand. At this rate, moderators will become the new scourge in SC2 Mafia.

Just so you're aware, if I did end up kicking him it was because he committed A and executed me after I warned him it was against the rules and it was clear it was his justification behind it even though I had claimed a provable role.

Or it was solely because of B and I had a very good reason to do so.

The reason he didn't save a replay 'at the time' is because he knew he was in the wrong. People always jump at the opportunity to report moderators afterall. This guy is literally obsessed with me kicking him(something that had to have happened at least a month ago) in the presence of other respectable mods but has no proof of it.

Not that it matters, I gave up my powerz like two weeks ago.

    Re: Question about illegal things/gamethrowing

I'm the ultimate counter to role-card reading.

    Why?

I've already memorized all of the counter-role role cards. This keeps me safe from any type of role-card reading.

Bus Driver, Power-Advanced, swap two players

They don't care about the exact role-card, most players only want a summary of it. As long as you've got the Rank(Power, Support, Advanced, Basic) and the name correct, the description really doesn't matter.

Or anyone that comes up as leader of men when gf is detection immune (most obvious frame ever)
I've seen three Mason Leaders get lynched on day2/3 because of this, and I always get accused of being the mafia because I'm defending them along with the Mason.

    Thanks
It does appear Landstander did act in haste to immediately warn and kick Kingfish after he named 2 members as mafia in attempt to fool the town. The accusations KingFish made had not even been confirmed yet and he was removed from the game before night fall.

    Re: Question about illegal things/gamethrowing

I got kicked from a game once because i killed Goon as jailer.
He was Mayor or something like that and he hadn't revealed yet, i presumed he was a SK wanting me not to execute so he could kill the role blocker.
Then i got auto put on the watch list as a griefer and was no thread so i couldn't have appealed it.

Actually a) usually results in kick, because the moment someone points out that it's against the rules and refuses to read 90% of pub jailors will execute.
    b) isn't really that debatable..there are several ways to confirm various roles. The most obvious is a revealed mayor, but there are also things like.. when I bussed a doctor once, and the person I swapped them with was immediately killed by the SK. Obviously the person can't be the SK.
