Helz was my strongest town-read for most of the game aside from yzb25 and now we are claiming the same role. Part of me really wants to believe that we could both be butler but I'm not willing to put odds on it.

I just don't see why my role-claim would actually change this situation if I didn't actually think you were triad originally. There would be no reason to hold back that information after asking you because the detective would still have the same lead if they are town. If they aren't then what would be stopping them from lying regardless?

It's the same feeling that I get from you claiming butler a day early when it wasn't really required. If you were butler and were dead then it would leave the town with one more confirmed town slot and one less TPR role. The fact you revealed when you did is more suspicious to me than anything else.

Its about setting a trap. Building a case before jumping at someone is always the stronger play.

I think the problem is you took a different approach than my reasoning and I just don't follow where you're coming from in terms of setting a trap. If I'm missing something from your recent posts I will go back and look for it.

I wasn't going to reveal until day 3 when we discussed a mass role-claim because I did not want to make yzb a bigger target and make myself less of one. As I said before, me dying is one of the better case scenarios that can come from my role, and from what I've read in your posts so far you don't seem to see that.

I don't think I ever said it's less convincing where you peaked your role, I feel like you're mis-reading me. I suspect you because of when you revealed your actual role, not when you hinted at it. I'm not going to argue with you about how you soft claimed your role because to think you wouldn't be capable of this as triad would be a bad play. I don't consider this AI at all though because characterizing your play as being smart enough to do something like this as triad isn't an argument.

I'm not avoiding talking about you on purpose. It's just I'm legit trying to not tryhard this game to the point I get burnt out/neglect IRL responsibilities before it's finished.

It's mostly a gut instinct that you've been trying to be far to nice (to avoid getting on anyone's scumlist) without actively trying to find scum yourself. A post here and there rubbed me the wrong way. But I haven't been trying to make a case on you because I haven't actually confirmed this gut instinct with an ISO and my instinct on Frinckles was hilariously wrong.

The gist of it was this:

Yzb was rather passive D1, and some of his posts felt like they were meant solely for discrediting rather than solving.

And with him pushing Frinckles on D2 (who was kinda LHF judging by the general reads at the time), it didn't sit right with me.

I've also thought about having Yzb25 claim today but I realized that with the only 2 options left to him rn and according to my WIFOM'ing on D2 and my N2 action he probably would have equal-ish chances of appearing town regardless of what they claimed.



If you really suspect Yzb25 is suspect along with Unknown then the best place to look would be D2; I do recall some interaction between them then but I haven't looked into it yet.

Right now I'm trying to think about how big the risk of yeeting DM really is. The corrupted assessor would have to have bound DM to a town without that town or DM being locked down, and without a bussing either causing DM to not be bound or causing the bind to be with another triad.

This is also only a problem if they didn't bind N1, which they very well may have.
