Okay, everyone~ I prepared a quick post before the game began so we can get some of the nonsense out of the way so we can focus on giving my beloved a wonderful game to watch!
Let's get the obligatory d1 setup analysis out of the way before anything else, then we can focus on intra-player interactions from there on-forth.
Let's start off with factional distribution.
We can't be absolutely sure there is a scum team in this game. In the previous run of the game, there were two non-town factions, named "Mafia" and "Cult" if I understood correctly. With this many players (13) I can only assume there's at maximum three non-town factions, and they'd more than likely be opposing each other as well. But if you wanted a guess from me, I'd make the assumption there is at least 2 factions with at most 3 members each, and a neutral of some sort. But at the end of the day, that's just a guess.
Luckily this means we're not likely to see any reality benders, town aligned or not, those things are a headache at best, and completely devastating at worse. That doesn't mean we're not going to see anything disruptive to day chat, because well, anything goes as my darling dearest said .
One thing that we need to consider (especially considering the previous run of the game) is that rolecards are not alignment telling, scum team had Thanos, a delivery man, and a dayvig/escort/doctor hybrid, while town had a reality bender and a poisoner/blackmailer. No matter how scummy a role card may appear, the only way we'll be able to confirm player alignment is through mechanics and flips. Please note that i'm saying "confirm" in that sentence; reads, tells, and interactions are probably the best way to solve this game. So take that with a grain of salt when you're making reads, especially post-roleclaim reads. But then again, we have no idea what anyone can do besides what we submitted and what we received, and even then the rolecards are all potentially edited for "balance". I trust that my love has made a more even game this time.
I may be competitive, but an easy win isn't very fun.
Hopefully this day will be productive so we can form a strong club, and get some reads off the players. Please make sure to post your reads as they update~
The lynch is one of our tools that won't be messed with, considering all lynch/voting manipulation roles are banned as per the signups. We need to take full advantage of it, delete those that are either confirmed scum, scummy, anti-town, or unproductive, in that order preferably.
Anywho, that's my FM tip for the day! Thanks for listening~
