I thought fence sitting meant you didnt do anything all game never voted just sat there and did nothing made no reads.

Oh well my interpretation of "fence sitting":

You just are "on the fence" if you are "fence sitting" -- you can't decide one way or the other, if you will.

Voting then unvoting can seem like "fence sitting" because it makes it seem like you're unsure if the person you're voting is scum.
