To add on to this
Plurality effectively limits the power that scum team has in a vote, particularly seeing as though we could potentially have 4 (including the turncoat) mafia.
Plurality/Majority cannot be an option for this save as with a full alive playerbase mafia only requires four town votes for a majority mislynch.
Teal guy REALLY REALLY REALLY wants to stand out, fellow cosmonauts. REALLY stand out.
I'm not giving blue guy a day. Fuck you mafia but I'm on your team this time. Lynch.
Angleshoot troll an anon game lul
ah multiquote gets me again.
I'm not jumping the gun here, you want to be a solid towny? He's giving a fucking tutorial on how not to be one.
I agree.
Mulan is exhibiting anti-town behavior. They are advocating for a misslynch and then when questioned about it will explain with "shit-posting" and "trolling" and "don't like blue color" but none of that takes away from the fact that they are diverting attention to try and get a personal selfish motivation fulfilled. I'm not saying Mulan is scum, I'm saying Mulan isn't acting for the Town with this kind of behavior.
Might as well get this out of the way:
To clarify, this role is giving a roleblock, not giving an item so that that player can use it, correct? Does the roleblock last one night or forever? Does the roleblock last into the day as well? What happens in a string of roleblocks where A, B target each other?Role: Biotech Expert (Consort) - Support
Description: You are an expert in biotechnology, specialising in biological warfare. At night, you may sneak into the ship's medlab and steal the raw materials necessary to concoct a temporarily-paralysis-inducing agent.
Ability: Concoct a paralysis solution and give it to a target of your choice.
Special: You may only do this once per game.
Is the charge used even when the attack failed on someone because that someone is no longer a valid target? (they are already dead)Role: Marine Lieutenant (Vigilante) - Killing
Description: You're the commander of a platoon of marines onboard the OEV Magellan. You and your men responded to the initial explosion in the life support module; most of your men perished whilst trying to seal the hull breach. You've assumed a new identity, known only to your fellow troopers, and have been keeping in touch with your subordinates, biding your time to strike the enemy...
Ability: Attack a player at night.
Special: You can only use your ability once per game.
Are players who are jailed able to be acted upon? If no, are jailed players immune to night attacks other than for their captor? If a player is jailed twice will he live if only one decides to execute? Are jailed players allowed to use their night action? Will the autovest activate and block an execution attempt? Can the android protect a jailed player? Will the player receive all the regular feedback for that night? Does a player in jail also have the possibility of simultaneously being in an architect chat?Role: Chief Security Officer (Jailor) - Killing/and the mafia variant
Description: You are an ambitious navy officer, working his way up the command chain. The task of safeguarding the Magellan on her journey back home has been delegated to you; now that not all of your crewmembers are what they appear to be, you are needed more than ever.
Ability: Select a player to jail during the day. You may anonymously speak to your target at night.
Special: Once per game, you may optionally execute your captive.
IOW What does being jailed entail?
Will the Clone inherit the charges of the assumed player or will it be replenished?Role: Clone (Amnesiac)
Description: You are a genetically-engineered human, stored aboard the Magellan as an organ repository. When the Brookmond infiltrated the ship, your pod was destroyed and you escaped. Faced with real life for the first time, you must decide who to support (if anyone) in this struggle for the ship.
Ability: Visit the morgue at night, and take up the role and faction of a target there.
Special: You cannot become a killing role (this includes the Turncoat if they’ve decided to side with themselves), the Captain, the First Mate, the Bosun, or the Coroner.
Special: Being a clone with an unusual biochemical makeup, you cannot be role blocked.
If the player with the special action is roleblocked, will it consume the charge?Special: You may only do this once per game.
@S-FM Magellan Core
This is probably a dumb question. Do mafia know who their teammates are or do they need to wait until they get access to their night chat to find out? I couldn't find it in the setup anywhere.
You've already given me enough info to put together a few relatively solid things.
You're town (no surprise considering the death tunnel)
You're very narrow with your views on what is and is not town
Scum are probably having a hayday knowing that I am painted for an easy lynch D1.
I don't know if people think I'm joking or invested in some insane tunnel vision for kicks and giggles but I'm just not.
Look at my posts this game and evaluate my style. I'm tryharding.
Jiles is outted.
This isn't some joke or test or whatever.
It is what it is.
I hope that clarifies my position.
Again, this isn't even a reaction test. Their game is done.
If I were Vigilante (which I might be) I would be shooting you tonight for not fucking doing what I tell you to. This is not a difficult task to decision-make about. Stop your self-righteous shit. Stop posting in blue and be a town member, or die. The town will be swifter at this than the Mafia btw.
Your non-sense is useless, what has it done?
Also get the fuck off my property.
I don't think you even know what you did to out your alignment. I'm sorry mate. I'll explain it in depth in post game. It's a pretty classic blunder that most Mafia fall into so I wouldn't feel bad about it. Again, lots of really good Mafia fall for this. I'm not kidding, I'll have it prepared and submitted to the host or something for post game so you don't think I just BSed my way to get you and got lucky. Not a gambit. Its just a very accurate tell.
I mean, not that there is even Jester in the role cards, but you aren't. You're just exactly Mafia.
I think maybe it would help your team at this stage if you posted in a way that would be confusing to interpret after you flip instead of pretending to still be Town. Maybe you could get by with a neutral defense and you were REALLY REALLY funny.
Oh yeah that is a role this game, but no. I'm just Town. Neutral would have been fun though, but honestly I wouldn't have as much energy to solve as I do now comparatively. Do you beleive I don't actually beleive they are Mafia? Also, what is your independent read on Jiles?
