Pretty sure a lot of people are tired of hoping to join a quick game of Mafia only to have dumbass or afk host slow everything down. Even worse is when you have to wait through 4 different repicks to finally get to someone who isn't brain dead.

My suggestion to solve this is to make it so the person with the highest points is the first person to set up. any repicks would go down the list. This would make a lot of pugs happy and also motivate good players to keep playing

Currently the host of the game is the player that created the game.

Repicks go to the player with the highest points then the second highest etc.

Essentially your suggestion is already covered in the games mechanics except with yours now players that want to host have to acquire thousands of points first or pray that everyone else in the game has less points.

Quite there is one person on the EU server with the current most points yet he's the worst person to play with he's just ground up point by playing stupid setups.

I think at the end of the game people should be able to vote the setup the more liked the setup the better chance the person is made host.

Also even though it's meant to make the person who made the game host I've not been host a few times :/

The danger of voting setups like that is a forced mob mentality. Eventually only people who make mainstream setups will be made hosts. It's already hard enough for people to make Citizen games, etc.

Another way could be everyone who wants to host shares their setups and people pick from them.

I can completely see what you mean, battle.net 2.0 is still far from good.

personally, this is a stupid idea, and would end up getting people banned from hosting for no reason, do not implement this for any reason, the current hosting system is perfectly fine
