    Role: Reporter

    Town or Neutral;

Has the [limited] ability to expose (Broadcast) someone's actions at night the following day.

    Example:

    Report selects "Bernard".

Bernard is Framer, and sees him framing someone.

Following day there'd be a report broadcast that "Bernard has been seen framing someone", or something like that.

If the report goes for someone who does nothing, nothing happens... and they've used up their report.

So... It's an Investigator whose reports are broadcast universally, so you can't possibly deny them?

Sounds like a horribly overpowered role. The mafia would have absolutely no defense. You can't even be like, "THE REPORTER IS LYING!" because the report is "broadcast" to everyone. It's like an Investigator on crack. o.0

    Re: Role: Reporter

Hence why it's limited - it's pretty similar to the Vigilante killing someone right off the bat... it's a risk of getting it right or not. If you report on an ally, you've potentially risked them.

Once abilities are used they, they're pretty much a citizen for the remainder of the game.

    Re: Role: Reporter

It does sound overpowered, but it could be countered if their was a mafia roll which could send out fake broadcasts with false info. This could make reporter usleless, however. U could also make reporter less over powered by giving hints instead, such as "Player X was seen snooping around Player Y's house. He could be conglileres or investigator"

    Re: Role: Reporter

I like this as a town role however there are some complications and thoughts.

    1) if you give away a key person like a doctor they are going to get killed. Keep that in mind when talking about how OP the role is
    2) shouldn't reveal allignment only actions. Ie escort vs consort, sheriff/investigator vs cosigliere, all killing roles, bus driver/witch. Only a few people roles would be left out. If they don't use their night action it should not broadcast anything.
    2) should be limited to 1 to 3 broadcasts

Oracle could be a really great addition.
